Old Town Kopitiam At M Boutique Hotel, Ipoh

Long lunch hour today... Elin and I were undecided where to go for our lunch. Both of us were not very hungry and secondly, the weather was really discouraging. We wanted something light and at the same time, the place must be cooling and nice. :) After some suggestions, both of us agreed to go to Old Town Kopitiam at M Boutique Hotel.
M Boutique Hotel or is it M Hotel Boutique?
The reception/lobby reminded me of those chinese medicine shops
during the Ching/Quan /Dynasty as shown in TVB series...
(I guess I've seen too much Astro these days!)
I didn't take any pictures of the reception, not so comfortable doing so...
But I did ask about the rates though...
For standard room, it is around RM200 inclusive of breakfast for two..
Not too bad...
Government rates is around RM160....
We proceeded to the Old Town Kopithiam...
Once seated, we were requested to order our drinks first...
As for the food, Elin was busy browsing through the menu...
Both of us ordered our Honey Lemon Ice drink...
It was so quenching and nice especially during such hot humid weather...
I wanted something light... so I ordered Laksa  RM9,90
And Elin ordered a Banana French Toast RM7.90
Just look at my laksa bowl!  So enormous, right?
Really worth the price cos I just love it!
Not too sour... not too spicy.. thick with sardine...
And in such a cooling place, I don't mind paying a bit more...
Definitely will come by here again for the Laksa again!
