We Went For Vietnamese

My "cook" is on strike this evening... kitchen is closed for today... leaving no choice, we ventured out to town for food. My girl suggested going for Vietnamese food, it was a first time for her coming by here.
The shop is called VNAM Kitchen Restaurant along Seenivasagam Street, Ipoh
Quite a nice and comfortable place to dine...
Most of the staff are Vietnamese.... and they are friendly as well...
After our orders were taken, these were laid on our table in no time...
I should have asked for lemon instead of lime...
Lemon has a stronger fragrance and the soup would be tastier... (for me!)
My order.... Vietnamese noodles with meatballs..
Definitely different from our local noodles....
I soaked in my share of basil leaves... love the smell of them...
My girl ordered Tomato Vietnamese Soup Noodles...
Something like laksa with added tomatoes to enhance the sweetness...
It comes with a plate of three types of meat.... BBQ beef, pork and chicken....
(Blurry picture due to my shaky hands!)
Friendly staff doing the mixing for my mom...
Our expressions before food...
After food, expression-less...
LOL...

  2. Is the Tomato Vietnamese Soup Noodles expensive? Since it comes with three types of BBQ meat. I notice that you did not put the raw beansprout into your noodle soup. Good to eat a different cuisine now and then.
