My Pictures And A Lovely Surprise In One-Utama Shopping Mall

At least I have a laptop to put my pictures taken yesterday in 1-Utama .   Started our journey in the morning and reached KL around noon....

Straightaway we were taken to 1-Utama... where my girl went for a shopping spree... and as I mentioned in yesterday's post, I was the Good Girl.... In factI stop shopping long ago... hehheee... since the day I handed in my resignation, I told myself that I do not need any more working clothing anymore, just wear what I have now in the cupboard... times are bad, right?   :)

Back to my KL trip, these were some pictures taken yesterday......
Starting point from the Ipoh toll...
and reaching 1-Utama in the afternoon...

My Gmail t-shirt...
Must be a Bloggers' shop!
During the evening, we had a stroll along Sri Damansara....
resting my weary legs...
My gang!!
Yes, once out from the house, the t-shirt will be worn from morning till night...
LOL....
This is taken this afternoon...
Yes, we were there again...
Guess who is the shopper again....
And who is the ATM....
And I had a lovely surprise while I was having lunch with my family...
A lady came up to me and asked me, "Are you Reanaclaire?"
And what came up next is not surprising...
I must take a picture of these two ladies whom I just got to know....
Thank you Dinah and friend... You made my day!!

Our Orders From Afghanistan, Spanish And Australia

My Final post on the Food Festival in the Victoria Market on Wednesday night.... The atmosphere at the market was "enhanced" by the cheerful songs and music by a group band... It was indeed a merry evening filled with music-licous folk songs in the air... . Ok, how to find four seats in this crowd.... hmmmm....... Somehow we managed to... and these were what my boys brought back to our table.... Mexican rice with oysters... or is it Spanish rice?   Both are the same, I guess... LOL.... Afghanistan Food.... chunks of chicken meat with naan.... Brazilian food.... don't ask me what it is.... I just ate what was on the table....  But I am amazed by this giant burger....  ..... and what burger is this? They told me it is Crocodile Tail Burger! Meat from the crocodile tail?  Is it just a name or what... I really don't know... Took a few bites of it... and I am full!! Well, these were the food we

My Failed Project In Baking Mini Egg Cakes

FAILED THIS TIME..... I don't know why, I follow exactly the ingredients and the method written in her website but it was not successful.  Something went wrong somewhere but I don't think I want to try it again.  This recipe is called Mini Egg Cake which is supposed to be soft, airy, light sponge cake but the way I made them, they turned out hard and crusty cake.   If I try again one day, I will half the portion... cos I like to eat these traditional egg cakes.... The Ingredients...  No point putting the recipe here since I failed..  LOL...  The portions of this recipe....  It looked very promising when I put them into the oven.... Even when they were in the baking process... they look good, aren't they? LOL...  I was so happy just by looking at the mini egg cakes in the tray....  And after they were let out... my heart sank....  The minute I took them out from the tray, I knew... Hard at the top...  Tak Jadi = Failed.... Now come to t

Home Cooked Dishes

NOT MUCH HAPPENING... and lazy too.... My neighbour gave me half pumpkin and I have been keeping it for a couple of days before I finally decide what to do with it.  I cook it into small chunks and sauteed it with minced meat, okra and basil leaves.  Yes, it would be great to put in some small cilipadi but unfortunately, I did not find any in my fridge.  Steamed a bowl of rice and that was meal for dinner.... One dish meal....  Pumpkin reminds me of sweet potatoes...sweet after cooking... Another dinner meal consist of Sambal Fish, black pepper met and a hard boiled egg  I only boiled the egg, the other two dishes were "sponsored" by my neighbour... LOL...
