My Humble Dinner On Dumpling Day

On medical leave today because I spent the earlier part of my sleep coughing and coughing... something sharp seems to be poking at my throat so much so that the tears came if I retrained from coughing. My sleep was really disturbed and I told myself that I really need to go and pay a visit to the doctor the very next day...

I went to the Government clinic in Kampong Simee during lunch time and I was expecting a big crowd since it is Monday... but to my astonishment, there were just a few patients....
Just a mere seven before me....and everything was done up so fast...
By 2.20pm, I was out from the clinic already.. only a half hour wait...
and I went home with a bottle of cough mixture...
I have yet to take a sip... yet to....
As for my humble dinner, it is just some dry noodles made in Sitiawan....
Add in some meat and greens to make the soup tasty a bit....
Since it is Dumpling Day, the meal must be complete with one....
My sister gave me one of these....
I called it "Hoong Tau Kan Sui Choong"  (Red Bean Dumpling)
It would taste great if only there is some gula melaka syrup...
But for tonight, a bit of sprinkled brown sugar is satisfactory enough...
 Yummmss!
Enjoy your Dumplings, folks!

  4. Hello Claire,

Get well soon! Haha, I did not even know that it is dumpling day until I read your post. The red bean dumpling looks tasty. I can eat it just like that without any sugar or kaya.

  10. Hard to find dumpling here in the UK, even if I do, the Malaysian-style cannot be found. Anyway, take care and rest more!
