Ipoh Food Attractions

Mention Ipoh and one will only think the four letter word starting with F... Yes, F-O-O-D! And as I browsed through my folder a moment ago, there are "odds-n-ends" photos... meaning one picture here and one picture another few days later and the list goes on.

Compile them together and it becomes today's current post called IPOH Food Attractions....  Let me start at random on what I have eaten for the past few weeks...
Waller Court road side Chee Cheong Fun...
Only opens in the mornings...
This plate cost RM4.20
While waiting for my CCF from across the road,
I will order some fish varieties from the first coffeeshop....
RM3.50
My complete meal which cost RM7.70...
With drinks, it comes to almost RM10...
And this breakfast will last me till dinner...
Sometimes I opt for curry noodles with roasted pork... RM4.50
(shop just opposite Waller Court in town)
Another type of CCF on a smaller scale.. RM2.50
@ Sin Lean Lee in old town, Ipoh...
Some afternoon snacks in a shop just next to Thean Chun aka House of Mirrors...
Nam Heong Hokkien Noodles in old town, Ipoh...
RM4 or RM4.50... not so sure...
Love this fish noodles in First Garden....
Normally it will be sold out fast.. so better to be there around 8am-10am....
The soup is kind of special... *winey* taste...
RM7.50
Location:  corner coffeeshop just a few shops away from Chang Jiang Enterprise...
From town, let's go to Perak Stadium during the evening....
Fish varieties at the first block Stadium....

Red bean desserts....
Bubur Cha-Cha-Cha.....
And some coconut pumpkin desserts!

Well, this is just a small fraction of what I love to take in Ipoh....
My next compilation will be when my folder is full again....
Hope this helps to boost up your appetite for today!
LOL....

  3. I was amazed and gripped by the cee cheong fun dish. The proportions are stark bigger than here in Sibu(Yours one is even cheaper). The dish looks even nicer than ours..Isn't true that they have innovated the dish because it does not look like the way the Dim Sum eateries prepare it O.0

    1. Oh, yes.. the dim sum ccf is different from this type above... there are two types.. the ones sold in dim sum eateries are called Hongkong CCF.. whereas the one I took above are made in Ipoh.. I think each state have their different sauce altogether too... :) KL, Penang... they are different and I haven't try other states as yet...
