My NAAN At Old Andersonian Club And Cafeteria, Ipoh

My food stint in Selangor has ended... back to simple food and for the past one week, I have been eating oil-less food.. plain porridge, soupy noodles, bread, oats, yogurt... BG22... hahahaa.... OK... OK... I know this sounds unbelievable! But I did partake the above food after some "heavy" meals in Klang valley...

Then one evening while driving home from work, I passed by a school... and FOOD came to my mind!  I wanted to come here for FOOD that very evening!
Yes, Andersonian's Club in Anderson School itself!
Believe it or not....
This is the First time I ever stepped in here.....
I heard of this place many times but it always slip from  my mind.....
Beautiful place here...
Anderson School in IPOH...
Very quiet and serene ....
Clean and pleasant...
The staff was also very friendly...
He recommended these dishes to us...
Naan with potatoes....RM4
This is another type of naan... I forgot the name... but it is plain.... RM2
We love this "BOMBS" Puri.... RM3
They looks so GOOD!
Very fresh... I could eat one set of these...
Okra....
The sauce might be red but it is not spicy at all.....
This is Chicken something-something........
Not so spicy too... as to my request...
 hahahaa...
And the staff highly recommended this Boneless Fish in Gravy!  RM14
I would recommend this dish to you too!!
The fish is very fresh....
It can go well with rice, capati or naan....
Here are our dishes.... RM37
This no-rice meal is for three of us ...
Will I go there for the second time again?
Well... my answer is this....
It would be a loss if I don't!
hahahaa...

  4. Oh I did not know that there is a club in a school that the public can go for meals in Ipoh. How special! Hehehe, do you know whether naan is more fattening or plain white rice is more fattening? I can't be bothered to find out because I give up my rice to be able to eat food like naan, hahaha!

  5. The outdoor setting is just gorgeous! But I am confused, this is really a school? Then how is it a restaurant...maybe in another wing of the building?

  9. Beautiful!!! Now you got me craving - I think I will have to go to the only Indian restaurant in town now for some naan. :(

The school looks so beautiful. St Michael's also like this, right? We have one here, Methodist, something like this too. So thankful they did not demolish the original front block to build those modern monstrosities!!!
