Penang Time Tunnel In Georgetown, Penang

After our satisfying lunch, we checked into the Royal Hotel and rested for a short while before we set out again.  Initially we did not have any specific plans on where we wanted to go upon reaching Penang.  At the hotel lobby we "chanced upon" a brochure promoting Penang Time Tunnel.  I never heard of it and the two kids I brought along seemed to be very interested.... so.....

HERE WE ARE!!
At the entrance of Penang Time Tunnel along Jalan Green Hall, Georgetown....
At the entrance, my nephew looked like he wanted to start a "conversation...."
And after getting no response, he went to purchase the entrance tickets to the TimeTunnel...
For adults, it cost RM14 (for Malaysians)
Those with student cards, entrance fee is RM10...
They were given a form whereby there are some questions about Penang history...
Answers are there on the wall...
Look at my nephew... engrossed...
Soon ... the questions are forgotten...
They are more interested in the figurines...
Very educational indeed....
Soon we were led to another door...
Entertainment time!
The ladies were given a "free ride"
and someone suddenly became the "Trishaw" rider...
Thanks to the friendly staff there...
They took pictures of us...
We also "stopped" to have a cup of coffee....
Thank you, Uncle...
Back to the 1960s.....
Hey... MR. BEAN IS ALSO THERE!!
UP for Jest!
His favourite POSE!
As for me, I rather take a ride with the Penang CM.....
OOOOPSSS...!!
Sorry Mr. CM... I know I am not supposed to sit behind...
Especially after a HEAVY LUNCH!

To be continued....

  5. This place is the coolest!!! The ticket man does not look real for a start! Are they wax figures, like in a wax museum? The most fun part is getting yourself in on the action, and being a part of it. Wish I could go!!
