Tasty Treat At Kok Thai Restaurant, Ipoh

Last night we were treated to a scrumptious dinner by Mr. and Mrs. Bil Chia, so nice of them to invite us out to Kok Thai, our favourite restaurant.  At 7pm or so, we arrived at the restaurant and knowing Elin and her hubby, they were already in the restaurant, they are always the punctual ones!

If anyone were to come to Ipoh or if there is any gathering, I would highly recommend this restaurant for their food are quite flavourful (according to my own taste) and the prices are quite reasonable too.

Back to our dinner, not wanting to waste much time, Elin ordered the dishes and while waiting, we had a wonderful time of bonding one another...
In no time, the first dish is out... Claypot seafood...
This has been shown in my blog for countless times already!!
That shows how "popular" this dish is... at least to me...
hahahaha...
Second dish is also a claypot dish... but it is filled with greens...
Very tasty because of the "wok hei" and the some salted fish in the dish as well...
Braised yam with three layer pork...
Words are not needed here...
 Assam curry seafood...
Another popular and appetizing dish!
Elin ordered another extra plate of noodles..
Sam See Meen...
Indeed it was very "yup mei" too!
With the four dishes and rice plus noodles,
Imagine how full we all were!
For a dinner like this, it cost around RM125...
Is it reasonable?
Thank you once again, Mr. & Mrs. Chia
for the wonderful and fulfilling dinner...
Indeed Food does bring us together
And hope we can have this more often!
hahahahaa...
