First Time To Ipoh Restaurant Along Jalan Masjid, Ipoh

Before my girl went back to her college,we went to town for dinner. There is one corner shop along Jalan Masjid, it is called Ipoh Restaurant. (Nowadays all eatery places are called restaurants with or without aircon)  Elin went there before and she recommended this to me a couple of months back. But I kept forgetting about this place till yesterday evening.  I always like to try out new stuff... next time I better record it in my "reminder" apps.....

To avoid the crowd, we reached Ipoh Restaurant around 6pm.... there were around five to six tables already occupied, they must have come around 5.30pm!  Anyway, there is one friendly "auntie" who took the orders, she recommended the below food for the three of us....
This is their signature dish...
Salted Fish Minced Meat....
I would like to recommend this to anyone who goes there too!
Portion is quite big... enough for the three of us...
Beancurd with two "moderate size" prawns.....
Salted eggs with mini french beans.... (Tau Miu)
We ordered two "double boiled" soup...
This is "Fun Kwok"...
Good for bones according to the Chinese...
I need to drink this more often....
And as for the bill, it came to RM47 for the three of us...
This meal has no "guessing price discount as in this meal...
This is a Must-Pay-Meal...
hahahaaa....

  9. The mincemeat looks awesome!! And also the bean curd. Here, we have to go at four thirty or five if we want to avoid the crowd. And Friday night, just forget it unless you go very early, long lines everywhere, even at McDonald's!
