Food Treasures In Lok Hin, Ipoh

The three of us went to Lok Hin Dim Sum at SOHO, Ipoh for the second time on a Saturday morning.   We saw some people waiting outside the premises and I thought to myself, that if we were told to wait for some time, I would rather go somewhere else.  But to my delight, we were ushered in straightaway because there was a small table available, just nice for the three of us.
We were presented with this menu...
But some of the dishes were recommended by the waitress...
Crispy fried yam dumplings....
My second try on this pumpkin yam cakes....
White carrot cakes fried with crunchy fresh spring water Ipoh beansprouts
Meat dumplings with meat floss....
Fried rice with three types of eggs....
chicken eggs, salted eggs and century eggs....
This is special.....
Fried pumpkin and eggplants with lots of meat floss as toppings....
I would love to try this dish again....
Lastly and not least....
We were recommended this dish...
When I first saw it, I was thinking... "OH Dear, what is this?"
Slowly I "lifted" up the "blanket"
And these are revealed...
How was the taste?
hmmm.... those who love crispy fried will love this...
I for one still prefer the noodles to be "decently fried".....
But this is worth a try
Cos this is something new...
"Out of the world"  :)
