Food Delights In Penang Island

Somehow we always go back to the same stalls over and over again while we are in Penang...  and we decided that we must not do that anymore next time... we must try other stalls which we have not been to the next time.  Of course we should do some "food homework" before we go to Penang again otherwise we would end up going to the same stalls again ... and again....

Here we were at Kimberley Street again the other day.... I was actually quite full that evening and we just took a bit of this and that... not much of food varieties and not too much to my liking as well.  Blame it on my slow indigestion!
Aaron ordered some braised duck meat ... or was it chicken....?
This is "koay chap" without the innards..
The fried koay teow was something not expected by Reanaclaire...
The dessert... "everything got" is the name....
The next morning we went to the market called 7th Street Market...
We had duck meat Koay Teow Th'ng....
We bought RM10 of roasted pork to go with the noodles...
This is the stall we have the duck meat....
From the 7th Street Market, we adjourned to Gottlieb Street for Laksa!
We had these too...
By then my tummy was really FULL!
The morning before we left for Ipoh, we had Koay Teow Th'ng again..
This time in Hutton Lane....
For sidekicks!
That ended the part of hawker food in Penang.....
We drove home after our two nights stay ...
And... yes, we will be back in Penang again.... soon...
Very Soon!

  1. The koay chiap is ridiculously expensive right now! One round at kimberley street for three, no less than Rm40....
