Ipoh And My Foodie Friends!

IT FEELS GOOD TO GO HOME, it is good to reach home in a matter of an hour more but when I think of the flight... hmmmm.... Well, a needle cannot be sharp at two ends... Two options... take a eight hour bus ride or one hour plus flight... which sounds good?  The former cost RM75 and the latter is RM103... and I chose the latter....
And so up and up and away.... we flew....
Above the clouds....
It was a fine weather this morning... Thank God...
After an hour plus, the plane began to descend...
And it feels so good to land....

Upon checking out, my girl and I were whisked into my friend's car...
and off we went for lunch Marpoh restaurant!
The dishes were already pre-ordered by my ex-colleagues while waiting for us...
Vinegar pork!
Yummsss!
Fish slices with ginger and spring onions.....
Ma Lai Foong Kong!
Crispy fried Oysters
And besides the yummy food, it is Great to see them once again!!
Food always bring us together no matter far or near...
hahahaaa...

  5. Really Ipoh Food Mayor, like Yang Berhormat, touch down then got personal ahmat to whisk you to food immediately! XD

I don't like fish in ginger and spring onions like that. Not because I don't like the fish, but because that dish always makes me feel like a moron, I would pick the fish and leave the other stuff alone..

  8. You flew home? I thought you and Fernie drove to JB? Left your car there for son to use? Such a good mum!

I'd rather fly too...especially when the price difference is so little - cannot imagine those extra long bus rides and all the stops on the way - you would have to spend money to eat some more...and even to use the toilet. May work out to be more or less the same.

  11. Flying is the faster option so it is the better choice since only need to pay a little bit more.
