Dinner Treat At Mun Choong Restaurant, Ipoh

I THOUGHT AFTER I STOPPED WORKING, I would be on the slimmer side... however, it was not meant to be... From February onwards I have been feeding myself with food and more food... so blessed, I know... but when I got the report from the doctor recently, I have to refrain from taking certain good food... Temptation is great and the flesh is weak... hahahaha...

I had another scrumptious meal a week ago, a yummylicious treat from a generous guy whom everyone loves.... it was indeed an honour to be invited by him, appreciate his thoughts very much.... I learn something from him... he told me that there are three words which we do not need to say to him ... They are "Thank you, Sorry and Please... "  Cute guy!

A group of us were invited to Mun Choong Restaurant for dinner... most of them were former SMI teachers and students... Only two names are familiar to me since my late hubby and my sons were from SMI... Master Thomas Choo and Timothy Chee are the familiar ones...
Seated with Mrs. Chee and Mrs. Choo among my other friends...
Part of the dishes served during that evening......

Half way through the dinner...
 The ladies.....
And the Seniors....
Terima Kasih, K.L. for the Sumptuous Dinner...
Cheers!!

  1. What a grand feast! What I know is when people retire, the food they eat is much richer and more grand than those they ate before, hahaha.

  2. What a happy occasion to come together with friends and good food. No worries, all your extra calories will be burnt after your polo ground exercise.

  6. Haha, so now how many kg you have gained? But I guess it would be balanced - with the amount of housework, gym and exercises and all.. Nevermind, "sik tak hai fook" (can eat, got luck)..

  7. haha, I doubt that leh.. when you stop working now, you tend to have more time to eat and also you should be more a happy person and hence you gain weight faster!! all the stress from work makes you slimmer lah I would say so.. unless you are spending your retirement on dieting, haha!! anyway, why bother?? just enjoy good food and be happy!! :D

  11. Better watch out leh... I've seen many cases of people falling sick shortly after they retire, due to having more time to relax and eat alot. :/

  12. You still look the same, pre or post-retirement ^^

Feast all you can but of course, do practise moderation. Enjoy life, my dear friend.
