Long John Silver's Fish n Chips

WE HAD OUR LUNCH AT LONG JOHN SILVER'S... I was told this fast food outlet originated from The Brits... Oh, do we have this joint here in Malaysia?  I am really not sure... Sounds familiar though ...
It was kind of quiet to my surprise...
It is famous for their Fish n Chips
Their main menu...
Huge portion for me!
The everyday promotion meal ...
And I ordered their famous Cod Fish n Chips...
Very crispy and comes with two Hush Puppies! (Corn balls)
After our meal, we proceeded to the Commissary for our groceries...
The prices here are a bit lower than the regular marts...and I had a great time looking and buying the imported goods...

  1. That's the pirate in "Treasure Island". Can't understand what connection he has with fish...or fish and chips. Guess it just sounds nice...as a name of an eating place.

  8. I think I've seen this one before in KL some time ago, in Midvalley or 1U... but don't think they were popular. Not sure if they are still around.

  10. we HAD Long John Silver in KL two times.. came back after the first failure, and then closed down again, no more after so many years.. i actually quite like the food, probably it's because of the lousy management.. the portion is definitely huge, i think probably 3-4 times those in Malaysia, haha!!

  11. Yes we had Long John Silvers as SK had mentioned. I didn't realize they have closed down as those Manhattan Fish have overtaken and still soaring with crowds. The food industry in Malaysia is tough to sustain as our crowd's loyalty is unpredictable .
This Long John Silvers has been a U.S. Franchise when I was there so it cannot be from UK as they have some ego issues in running each other's business.
