Red Lobster, Howe Avenue, Sacramento

WHEN MICHELLE SUGGESTED GOING FOR LOBSTER AGAIN, all I can think of is.. "why not???"  And I continued... "After the lobster... we go Leatherby's!!"  Sounds great... Let's Go!

That was what we did yesterday after a few hours shopping at Macy's.  Last minute shopping, my suitcases are full to the brim, I am quite worried, not about the weight but about the zips!  My two suitcases are like a "full grown pregnancy!"  hahahahaa... Anyway... I just got to buy that "tiny dress" regardless of my "pregnant suitcases".... sigh.. ladies!!  "Never come home empty-handed, right?!"  hahahaa....

Back to our meal, we went to the Red Lobster at Howe Avenue... the place was quite dim upon entering, booth style and we ordered just one main meal which comes with free and endless cheesy buns!  My sister is right.....  The buns are simply fresh, soft and cheesy!

Still warm and soft... I just couldn't help walloping two at one go!
Still soft and warm... and cheesy....
The second batch of buns came without even ordering for one...
Great service!
Followed by the house salad....
Crab cakes as appetizer....  yummy crab flesh...
And our main meal.....
Lobster and Crabs Fest!
Took away the crabs and the treasures exposed....
Six pieces of lobsters... phew.....
Indeed a very "healthy" meal....
*consoling myself*

That was our meal... yes, we are small eaters....
The meal cost around $45 plus tips..
Need to pay at least 15-20% tips for every meal....
Cos we need to save a bit of space in our tummy for the Leatherby's Ice Cream!

Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner At San Jose 2022

TABLE FOR FOUR... We had our own reunion Chinese New Year dinner on Monday evening.... we made a simple one, just hot pot at home.  All we have to do is to clean the vegetables, get everything defrosted... and the hot pot boiling with a packet of seasoning.  They sell a lot of hot pot seasoning over here, from tomato soup to shrimp and chicken soup, I just threw in the whole packet of paste.  No doubt not so healthy but it is so easily done....  As usual, Chinese New Year won't be CNY without a plate of Loe Sang...  No crackers so I put in a few pieces of Tacos... LOL... Most important is the sauce....  The apricot, plum sauce and honey makes it right.... And our dishes for the evening..... We ate too much shrimps the day before so we omitted for this evening.... Simple and yet satisfying meal for our Reunion Dinner....

Three Hours City Tour At Ensenada, Mexico

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. Yes, something common in my own country... Anyway, we did not buy anything for ourselves... just a wooden handmade truck for my grandson which cost $8usd.   Nothing much to shout about on this three hours excursion, I was so sleepy on the way back to the ship that I dozed off and only awaken when we were driven through the town.  All in all, I just wanted to step onto Mexican soil and I would give this a miss if I were to go on this Mexico cruise again.  LOL... At the open area shopping walking towards the Blowhole... This is La Bufadora Blowhole, an amazing natural marine geyser that is capable of shooting water over 60 fe

MISSING IN BLOGGING AGAIN.... this has become a norm now ever since I arrived to this continental... LOL... Now I understand the word of Full Commitment when it comes to taking care of baby... seriously, I have to be fully commited and occupied by this little cheeky fella who is now going to be his 10th month soon.  Wow... time flies, when I first came, he was just slightly over four months... that being said, it is soon time fo rme to pack my bags and leave.  LOL... My 6 months being a babysitter is soon over... and did I say I can hardly wait?  NO, NO... I love my job here and I am going to miss my baby tremendously!  I only don't miss his cries!  LOL...  OK, by the time I write this post, Chinese New Year is over, it is now the 4th day of CNY.  Two days before the Lunar New Year, my daughter-in-law and I cooperated fully and baked a few types of cookies.  Looking back at these pictures, I dare say that we did a good job... not on the cookies but at least we had a great time bond
