Shanghai Food In San Diego

OUR FRIEND FROM SAN DIEGO TOOK US TO THIS PLACE FOR LUNCH... I welcome the change anytime... This is my second time here, my first time was 2012 and the food was pretty good... But the name has changed, from Chin to Chan and this time is more on Shanghai food....
It was a hot afternnon and I quickly ran inside after taking this....
At the entrance to the restaurant....
The deco is the same as before....
For appetizer, this dish is all about beef....
Flat rice cakes with meat and green mustard...
Shanghai noodles....
Oh, not sure what this is called..but the fish was wonderfully sauced....
The meal came with steamed rice and the bill came to around $45.00...
Thank you to B for giving us a scrumptious lunch!
Till we meet again....

  3. B is such a generous host. These Chinese meals must be cooked by the mainland chefs esp the fish sauced dish and stir fried rice cakes that look similar in whole China. I would say we have quite limited Chinese food in Malaysia when compared to China.
From Chin to Chan, that's funny! Next trip, you might the name Chong.
