Assam Curry Fish At Jalan Chung Ah Ming, Ipoh

A DAY OF SWEAT AND GLORIOUS FOOD.....

After an hour and a half of sweating during the Line Dance, my tummy was all ready for food absorption!   Yes, it was in the evening when I have done my exercise and I love this latest activity I have joined a month ago.  When my friend mentioned that a "Baby Class" was going to open last month, I quickly put my hands up agreed to be part of the class... Ok, Baby Class here means the very first steps in Line Dancing, ok... hahahaha.... *don't get me wrong*

Though the journey from my place to the class takes me around half hour, I do not really mind... it is what I enjoy doing... anything with music that gets my leg tapping, I would love to go!  *Especially at my age now, better do it now or never*  hahahaha...

Coming back to the topic, after our dancing session, it was only around 7.30pm... just nice for dinner and my friend suggested going to Chung Ah Ming Road for Assam Fish Curry!  Since I had never been there, I readily agreed....

The stall at the corner shop.... along the same row with Moon De Moon Kafe
Forgot to take the name of the shop... sigh..
We ordered Beancurd that was served this way.....
Greens is a must....
And lastly the Fish Curry....
Beneath the ingredients were two pieces of "Sek Pan" Fish....
Which I didn't manage to take because the four of us were very hungry by then...
No Handphone on the table once all the dishes have arrived...
Anyway, good choices of food...
The bill came to RM41....
It was really a "Fishy" day for me....
Steamed fish at noon and Curry Fish in the evening!

  4. What a coincidence! I just cooked that yesterday using Khadijah Ibrahim's asam pedas instant paste. Very very nice but you will not like it - very very very spicy! I used tengirri and added brinjal, no ladies fingers in the house.

  5. I love assam curry fish but hubby not so keen on sour and spicy food. Drooling at your pictures.

Good to stay active at your age. As for me, lack of exercise and I could feel pain here and there. Up the staurcases also can feel my leg joints aching. Hubby said I am lack of exercising. I am going to go back to gym next year when I have free time in the morning when Jamie starts kindergarden.

  7. I love that type of beancurd. And the assam fish looks really appetizing. Good that it is not fish head, I prefer fish meat curry myself for obvious reasons. :P
