Fong Wei Ge Hot Pot In Ipoh Town

OH MY GOODNESS! WOKE UP LIKE A SLEEPY JEAN AND IT WAS ALMOST BRUNCH!  Quickly watsapp my group of friends to check who is available for brunch or lunch... Thank goodness two of them were free... and one even suggested a place I had never been to before... YAY!!
This shop is right in town under my nose and I didn't even know it...
just opposite Mun Choong Restaurant in Horley Street...
Opened just a year ago if I am not mistaken...
A very spacious place with one side air con and another side open air...
Surely we ladies opted for the former...
Their specialty is a Hot Pot....
Filled with lots of goodness....
Vegetables, enoki mushrooms, beancurd *fuchok*, yam and fish head with thick skin!
Yes, the soup was fantastic... Yam in soup!  Yummy!

And being "greedy" we ordered some pork knuckles...
My friend recommended this cos she wanted to "tarpau" back for her girl...
Each of us tried a piece.. yes, it was very "yap mei"... *flavourful*
Beautifully fried and there was no remainder for this....
Food Galore!
Bill came to around RM63 with drinks...
A very nice treat...
Thank you, Bee!
Finished in no time....
We are the Big Eaters!
Hey, this was taken on Monday....
Today you were there again???
Oh MY!!

  1. Awesome brunch. My kind of comfort food. Was surprised 3 of you manage to finish that pot full of goodness & price is reasonable.
