Flying On Wheels From Aberdeen To Amsterdam

WE LEFT ABERDEEN VERY EARLY THE NEXT MORNING...It was raining quite heavy when the cab came to fetch us to the airport.  For the past ten days while we were there, there was no rain to deter us from going out, thank God for that... I did not sleep well the night before, maybe due to the fact I had to get up early the next day...
At the airport as usual, I am now in the special assistance care... Going to disabled toilets is a norm for me now besides being wheeled about endlessly....
We had another one hour to go before boarding... And we were feeling very sleepy and cold...
First to line up as usual but this I was last to go in because the van which was supposed to "forklift" me up to the airplane was held up by another disabled... πŸ˜€
I was "scooped" up the plane via the emergency exit and was given the privilege to sit at the first class... So nice of them even though it was only a short flight to Amsterdam...
Above the clouds and I could only see this horizontal line....
Our first time sitting first class...
Food served for us at tge first class.....
For economy only chips and drink for the short flight...
Finally we landed.....
Waiting for our luggage and my left and right chaperon....
The Schiphol airport is really huge, really... We could easily walked endlessly if not for the 'assistance'..
After everything was done and checked, we waited outside for hour host to pick us up....
Our tour has begun... I am having mixed feelings... Excited and nervous at the same time..
We are now on our own, staying in new places and depending on public transport...
In my present condition, I hope we can overcome all odds and have a good time....

  2. I guess it's ok, you get wheeled and carried around. Not too much pressure on the injury. Take good care, most important.

  7. Err.. okay one lah, Europe is very OKU friendly one, all their buildings and systems are designed as such. I think you won't run into any obstacles there. Probably the biggest problem would be encountering those IS refugees, seems like they are all over Europe and camped out in the streets.

  14. They Europeans are always very flexible and very considerate to allow you better seats.
You are lucky to get the snap shot of the guy in uniform as most airports would grab our cameras.
Even I kena at LCCT last time when he accused me for snaping the check in counter. In the end, there was nothing inside my camera pula.
