Hot Pot Of Treasure Over Lunch

I HAVEN'T MET MY WORKING COLLEAGUES FOR A LONG WHILE NOW... it was great meeting up even with two of them only *the ones working* plus another two non-working like me last Friday.  With the long lunch hour they had, we decided to go for a Hot Pot Lunch at Fong Wei Ge restaurant in town...
My ex-working and food buddies!
It was so fun catching up with them...
We were the "Empat Sekawan" once-upon-a-time in our office...
We had laughter, we had joyful tears... all turn out for the better....
"I love the three of you!"...
And now the retirees versus the working ones...
Soon .... one by one will join our club... hahahaaa....
Over the hot pot of gold,
we shared our sweet memories of our yesteryears working life together...
The treasure seems endlesssssss.....
Let's dig in!!
We also ordered Salted Fish Minced Meat....
Our favourite dish of all times...
We were a greedy lot... this was not left out in our orders...
Everything was cleared by the time we left our table....
Hope we can get together again... at least once a month...
More catching up to do!

  1. All the faces are familiar to me by now as they are your foodie goodie friends. Great company, great food and I love all the food as much as how you people love & enjoy.

  8. Hey! Steamboat!!! I like!

Salted fish minced meat looks like lor bak except it is one big piece, not cylindrical and long. My SIL makes that too but in patties - very nice!

  9. Haha! Love the way you put it: the retirees vs the working ones. You definitely seem to be enjoying your retired life. That's a great thing to know. :-)

  10. Now I know from Claire's and Arthur's blog that retirement life is really in heaven, because it is all about feasting on nice food and nice outing, I am envy.
