Sangkaya In Bayan Baru, Penang

I HAVE TWO MISSIONS TO DO IN PENANG....one is to go room hunting so the very next morning we went to "survey" in Bayan Lepas and we did not really find one suitable over there.  As we came down from the apartment, something caught my eye.  Since I was feeling tired after all the hopping and limping, I was all ready to relax and rest my weary leg.  How happy I was when I saw Sangkaya right in front of our parking!
Read in some blogs about Sangkaya but never really tried...
And my girl told me that Ipoh has just opened a branch... really!
How come I didn't know that earlier??? hmmmm....
Young people always know better....
Quiet business... maybe it was not lunch hour yet...
or maybe not late afternoon where everyone goes off work....
Not everyone is lazy like me, with nothing to do, right?
hahahahaa....
Quickly grabbed a chair and put up my dear leg....
It was a relief!
And then we ordered....
This is the four scoops special.... with three toppings....
Ice cream made from coconut and there are some fresh flesh at the bottom...
If not mistaken, it cost around RM10.90
So we shared our four scoops... and this is halfway through...
Within minutes all that was left was just the shell...
Actually it is quite mini-sized..
Shouldn't be a problem for me even if this is not shared...
hahahahaa....

  2. Good kah? My nephew's franchise business enterprise, my missus' brother's son. Outlets sprouting all over. Seems that a lot of people love it - never have the chance to try myself. :(

  4. Room? For your daughter kah? Which factory she going to work in? Actually the one attached to Sangkaya is prime location, but the price is a bit steep. On the plus side, a lot of the owners there converted into AirBnb units, so if you live there, you might bump into a lot of angmohs. Who knows, maybe can fish one rich one wakakaka!

  9. There's an outlet near my place too in Kota Damansara.

I think they took over the ex Flaming Melt or chicken rice shop, it's at Jalan 5/1 before Sunway Giza.
