Siblings Lunch At Delight Restaurant, Ipoh

IT WAS SORT OF A FAREWELL LUNCH THIS AFTERNOON AT DELIGHT RESTAURANT... After posting up a few times in my blog, the temptation finally "lured" my siblings to this place.  As most of us are getting "not any younger", we had lunch instead of dinner for we do not wish to drive out in the dark night if possible.

This morning I intentionally woke up a bit later than usual, had a small mug of oats and endured a couple of hours so that my first main meal of the day  would be spent savouring these delights in the restaurant.
We were there around 1pm... easy parking and not crowded...
And I made the orders for ten persons...
Steamed "Wan Yue" fish with lots of ginger....
Young, fresh Kai Lan with yam....
Sweet sour pork....
The not-to-missed Beancurd with eggs and minced pork..
Salted egg chicken....
Mixed vegetables with nuts....
Claypot trotters with peanuts....
And that was about all... I think...
Delightful company and treat....
Total cost RM215....

  1. Oooohhh. Drooling over the food.

I would like to try the last dish. Pork trotter with peanuts. Interesting, never had this before.

My favourite?? Got to be the fish. They are so generous with the ginger!!

  2. I also prefer to eat lunch for gatherings rather than dinner. Good food as usual. The one I like best is Mixed vegetables with nuts - are those macadamia nuts?

  3. Kai Lan with yam is my favourite. I like to munch on the mixed vegetable, love to pick the macadamia nuts. Long time didn't order sweet sour pork.
