Wrong Direction Ended Up In Pun Chun, Bidor

MET UP A FRIEND IN TELUK INTAN AND he recommended this shop to us where goodies snacks were sold.  Most of the roads are "one way" and it is like driving within a "box" ... It is a small town but nevertheless, there were many tourists like us too.
We ended up buying some local snacks in this shop the friend recommended...
Most of them are similar to those sold in Ipoh but different manufacturers...
After buying our stuff, we decided to go home....
Then we saw one familiar bus from Ipoh...Sri Maju....
Instead of following Waze, we decided to follow the bus instead...
We thought this bus would lead us out from town and back to Ipoh...
But we were wrong, after following it for more than half hour....
We realized the bus was going down south than north!
Since we ended up in Bidor town after some turnings,
we took the opportunity to stop at Pun Chun restaurant...
Had their once-upon-a-time famous wanton noodles....
And their giant dumplings filled with fresh prawns and meat....
Ordered a herbal chicken soup as well.. RM8.50
The wanton noodles with two bowls of dumplings plus drinks cost around RM15
After the heavy meal, we walked along the row of shops and saw these cuties...
Displayed in front of the shop....
They even have a facebook page on these....
Some young girls were buying one of each...
But this giant cow.....
And the giant doggie were left behind....
They looked kinda of sad...
No, I didn't take them home...
Don't think I have the heart to eat them up!
Oh well, our day trip ended later than expected...
From Bidor it took another an hour to get home...
It is not too bad after all...
