Delightful Time At Kok Thai Restaurant Despite My Poor Memory

I REALLY HAD A SHORT MEMORY... Just last week, I suggested having dinner with a couple and we decided to have it last night.  Thank goodness she whatsapp me to remind me of the dinner yesterday afternoon, I have forgotten all about it!!  It would not be a problem but it definitely is when I had made an appointment with another friend for dinner on the same evening too!

When the message came in, I was like... "OH ... OH.... What shall I do?"  This couple does not know my friend and vice versa and I did not feel like canceling either party's date.  My end solution was...
Come, let's go together for the dinner... Four of us... No canceling to either party and no disappointment to whosoever.... My fault, my apologies!  The dinner will be on me, that is for sure! hahahahaa....

This Crispy fried chicken was on promotion rate RM24
We were given gloves to eat it just like that...
which I found a bit depressing.. so I requested it to be cut and put onto a plate..
And I was told that it would be extra RM2 to cut it up...
*Logic?*
And for the extra RM2, it was nicely presented..
I think I skip ordering this again if I could help it...
I ordered their signature dish Claypot Hoi Mei aka seafood....
And their claypot Kangkong as well...
I like this dish... the leaves were young and fresh....
And lastly the Foo Yoong Omelette...
The dinner came to RM110 for the four dishes...
We had a great time even though the three of them do not know one another...
And after talking some "history".. it seems they were "ex-colleagues" in a way before!
What a Small World!

Well, the night was still young after the dinner....
And surely and dearly, this was on my mind...
Despite my forgetfulness, I am glad that we could have a sit-down dinner together...
And having experienced this, I just need to have more ice cream
To keep my memory good and strong!
hahahhaa...

  1. Sometimes I also join my friend's friends when we have breakfast date. I dont mind. Can meet new friends. Haha.

Nice dinner. It is indeed hard to eat the chicken with hands. Better let them chop it. The claypot seafood looks yummy. I want that.
