Discover New Dishes with Helpful Apps

As anyone who is going to have a vacation once or twice in a year, I usually have a careful preparation for this event. I’m looking forward the trip choosing the place where to go, thinking over what to take with me, and planning my everyday activity. I want it to be perfect, without any stress. Just me, my friends, a new place, and a new culture. I am always excited about future trips and finding out something new. Food plays a huge role in getting a good experience from the trip. As a part of the culture, traditional food tells a lot about the people who live there, about local values and it opens the doors to a new world. That is why, planning my trip I always think of places where I might have a meal, read reviews and visit forums to gather the information about the perfect cafe for breakfast before long and eventful day, a cosy coffeehouse with desserts, a splendid restaurant for the farewell dinner. As technology moves forward, and software development companies create more and more useful apps, it is becoming easier, and I would love to share with you those apps that helped me a lot during this process.

Jetzy

The app itself is great for travellers, it connects people letting them share their recommendations and inspiring travel images. And it also rewards its user with pleasant things such as spa vouchers, hotel stay, dinner for two, or even free trips to Tahiti. When you sign in you choose your travelling style and get the options where to go.

Meal Sharing

Where you can taste a real traditional meal if not in the house of local people. Well, with Meal Sharing it is becoming possible. People who tried it usually leave positive reviews and share it with others. So do I. Enjoy the comfort of the local’s home and get the authentic dining experience.

Ness

Ness is your personal advisor in finding new restaurants you will love. With a rating system, you just mark the restaurants you liked and next time you are looking for something it will suggest a place for you. The longer you use it, the better it gets. That is why never forget to rate the place. In addition, you can find there useful reviews of various users, check the menus, Instagram photos, and make a reservation via OpenTable.

Foodspotting

A visual guide, like Instagram for food, will help orient in all this variety of dishes any restaurant offers. Being a great tool for recommendations, it helps to find dishes your friends found good and share what you liked.

Chefs Feed

If you are a real connoisseur of the restaurant meals then you probably will be interested in tips from those who are professionals themselves. Chefs Feed shares a professional opinion on favourite dishes of well-regarded chefs in 16 global cities.

Bar Roulette

The combination of Yelp reviews with Uber will provide you with intriguing and safe night experience. It chooses a top rated bar for you and orders an Uber to take you there not telling you where exactly you are going. A fun app to get acquainted with city’s nightlife.

Get new experience, discover, and learn more about new places and culture through the cuisine. I hope this list of applications will help you to enjoy this process.
