My Trademark Signs And Poses In Edinburgh

ALONG THE STREETS OF EDINBURGH after the visit to the Edinburgh Castle...Our walk lasted a couple of hours... but due to constant stopping, we did not feel so tired.... We had our lunch at The Orchid, a Thai restaurant somewhere along the way with a couple of friends who met us up.  As the Saying goes... no sex please, we are British... And My saying... No western food please, I am Chinese!  Lol...

Our Long Walk at The Fringe Festival
Walked down from the Edinburgh Castle....

Among the crowd, there are two Asians....

This too is real... And he is floating in thin air....
The weather was simply beautiful...
No more sweaters for us..
In the midst of the crowds...
People and people everywhere....
Performance on the streets....

The famous theatre in Edinburgh....
Walking back to our parking....
At the Botanical Gardens.... And my weird Pose!!

This pose might be better.... LOL!!!

  1. Great castle, beautiful place and so many interesting things happening there. At first glance, I thought you and partners were holding hands! Ha ha! Have to take a second look!

    1. I was surprised too... Dint realize someone there beside me...hahaaaa

  2. Hahahaha, I ate at a Thai restaurant too when I was in Edinburgh with my spouse because he is like you.

    1. Not sure because I can't remember the name of the Thai place.

  3. I think you are posing low to the ground in order to get a better look at all the flowers! You and your girl are so cute! Are these silver and gold people really real people? Are they supposed to be characters in books or movies? the whole area is so awesome, especially the castle.

    1. Yes, they psinted themselves... We just took pictures and gave them some nickels... :)

  4. Look at the clear blue sky, so beautiful and LOL at your last second pose

  5. The infamous botanical garden in Edinburgh! Were there lots to see?

An Evening Dinner At Chef Chew Kitchen, Petaling Jaya

BACK TO SG. BULOH for a couple of days.... Come evening, we went for dinner at Chef Chew Kitchen in Seksyen 19, Petaling Jaya.  Since it was my first time there, I did not know what to expect except to sit back, relax and eat.  LOL... It is a one shop lot restaurant so tables are very limited.  Reservation was made at 6pm to be on the safe side, to avoid crowds and waiting for food was very minimized at this time of the day.  For the seven of us, these dishes were served on the table... Thumbs up even before the dinner...  And soon these are served...  Claypot braised ribs...  Their signature dish... Fish Maw...  First time eating fish maw which is whitish in colour...  Black Beancurd with Pumpkin sauce... Hey, this restaurant indeed serves new to me! This must be Sweet Sauce Chicken... For the American... Cos we Asians like Steamed Chicken like this!  LOL...  And the star dish of the dinner is this...  Freshly steamed and succulent prawns

Our Orders From Afghanistan, Spanish And Australia

My Final post on the Food Festival in the Victoria Market on Wednesday night.... The atmosphere at the market was "enhanced" by the cheerful songs and music by a group band... It was indeed a merry evening filled with music-licous folk songs in the air... . Ok, how to find four seats in this crowd.... hmmmm....... Somehow we managed to... and these were what my boys brought back to our table.... Mexican rice with oysters... or is it Spanish rice?   Both are the same, I guess... LOL.... Afghanistan Food.... chunks of chicken meat with naan.... Brazilian food.... don't ask me what it is.... I just ate what was on the table....  But I am amazed by this giant burger....  ..... and what burger is this? They told me it is Crocodile Tail Burger! Meat from the crocodile tail?  Is it just a name or what... I really don't know... Took a few bites of it... and I am full!! Well, these were the food we

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...  Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch
