Some Irresistible Ipoh Treasures

FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS, I have breakfast with my Ipoh foodie friends and ended up taking all these that I missed having!  During my absence, a few of them posted up their meals on Facebook and they really left me drooling over them in Johor.  Now I am back with a vengence.... Food Vengence! hahahaha....

In Malay, it is called Jalan Jalan Cari Makan... In English, it means Food Adventure... Alright, let me start with what I yearned most when I was back....

A bowl of meaty noodles at Cong Yin, Ipoh Garden South...
And it cost a hefty RM8 for one bowl...
Oh My Goodness, I thought of putting it under my "Boycott" list....
But considering the place is air-conditioned, the price is more or less justified...
The bowl of noodles in Face To Face was around that price too....
hahahaha....
Beneath the soup lies my favourite Noodles called Loe Shu Fun aka Rat Noodles....
And these reminded me of the ones I ate in Face To Face, JB....
These are called fried dumplings at a price of RM1.70 each....
I have this in the evening at Yee Lock, Anderson Road....
First time ordering the fried noodles here and it came with 3 big prawns...
And this plate cost RM6 and it tasted good, just a bit on the saltish side...
Chicken Koay Teow at Pulau Sembilan, Pasir Puteh...
Have to wait at least half an hour for this.. RM4.60
Lastly and not least, some desserts from Greentown coffeeshop...
Caught my eye when I was ordering some toasted bread...
It is made of tapioca and coconut with brown sugar as toppings.... RM1.40
Let me think..... what shall I eat tomorrow? :)

  1. That tapioca kueh sure looks different, not like the ones in my blogpost today. Sure would love to give these a try.
