Why Driving Is the Best Way to Explore the UK

The United Kingdom is filled with so many great places to visit. The beautiful city of London, the castles of Scotland andthe gorgeous landscapes of Wales are just waiting to be explored. There are many ways to fully enjoy the beauty of United Kingdom, but the best way to explore the nations is by driving. There are several reasons why driving in the UK is a good idea for your next trip.
You Can Drive with Your License
Whether you’re visiting the UK on a vacation or you’re moving to one of the cities in the country, you can easily get a car and start driving with a valid driving license from your country. The driving license is valid for up to 12 months, after which you’ll need to take a driving test and qualify for a British driving license.
The test itself is easy to pass too. There are a lot of free driving theory practice tests you can take online. Even better, you can also get a provisional driving license and still be able to drive until you qualify for a full UK driving license so long as a qualified driver is in the car with you. It’s really that simple.
You Don’t Even Need Your Own Car
Rental car companies enable you to rent a car at the airport from the moment you arrive in the UK. You also don’t need to worry about returning the car back to the same airport. If you plan to arrive at Heathrow and depart from Glasgow Airport at the end of your trip, for example, you can simply drop the rental car off at your departure airport.
This means you are free to explore the best parts of the UK through most of your holiday in the country. There is no need to allocate half of the vacation time for the trip back to Heathrow, for example, just to return the rental car.
There are a lot of support offices along the way too. Let’s say your car breaks down in the middle of the trip. You only need to contact the nearest support office and you will have a replacement car delivered to you in a matter of hours – even minutes.
The Back Roads Are Amazing
You can’t love road trips before you have one in the UK. The British countryside is an amazing place to be, filled with great – and immensely beautiful – roads to explore. You can drive for hours and not feel bored or tired at all.
Prepare for some breath-taking landscapes, great stops along the way and some of the best holiday attractions in the UK to visit as you drive around the United Kingdom. All you have to do is plan a suitable route from one point in the country to another and you will have an amazing holiday experience nonetheless.
So, what are you waiting for? Plan a road trip across the UK for your next holiday and have an amazing experience to tell your friends about back home. Be sure to use the tips we discussed in this article to make your trip that much more enjoyable.

Three Hours City Tour At Ensenada, Mexico

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. Yes, something common in my own country... Anyway, we did not buy anything for ourselves... just a wooden handmade truck for my grandson which cost $8usd.   Nothing much to shout about on this three hours excursion, I was so sleepy on the way back to the ship that I dozed off and only awaken when we were driven through the town.  All in all, I just wanted to step onto Mexican soil and I would give this a miss if I were to go on this Mexico cruise again.  LOL... At the open area shopping walking towards the Blowhole... This is La Bufadora Blowhole, an amazing natural marine geyser that is capable of shooting water over 60 fe

Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner At San Jose 2022

TABLE FOR FOUR... We had our own reunion Chinese New Year dinner on Monday evening.... we made a simple one, just hot pot at home.  All we have to do is to clean the vegetables, get everything defrosted... and the hot pot boiling with a packet of seasoning.  They sell a lot of hot pot seasoning over here, from tomato soup to shrimp and chicken soup, I just threw in the whole packet of paste.  No doubt not so healthy but it is so easily done....  As usual, Chinese New Year won't be CNY without a plate of Loe Sang...  No crackers so I put in a few pieces of Tacos... LOL... Most important is the sauce....  The apricot, plum sauce and honey makes it right.... And our dishes for the evening..... We ate too much shrimps the day before so we omitted for this evening.... Simple and yet satisfying meal for our Reunion Dinner....

Phil's Fish Market And Eatery, Moss Landing

DAY TRIP TO MOSS LANDING...  I did not know what to expect since I had not been there before.  We took an hour plus drive to this seafood place, it is an open air restaurant whereby you can dine by the sea or inside.  We chose the latter, since it was quite windy in the open air.  With a baby kid, it is best to have some warmth inside the restaurant. Yes, there was already a queue by the time we reached there, it was actually between lunch and dinner and yet, patrons were ready to have their meal.  Though the queue looked long, we could get a place within 10 minutes or so.   Almost the same picture but someone was looking at me when I took these...  Almost reaching the finishing line to enter ... Clam Chowder to start off...  Cioppino... A combination of seafood... Mussels, prawns, crabs, clams...  Eat what the fishermen eat... Dip the bread in the sauce... Yes, I like this... Fried chicken chunks...  And I still prefer the Cioppino compared to this....  Baby enjoying his own food befo
