To All The Food I Love Before In Ipoh...

TO ALL THE FOOD I LOVE BEFORE... Now I am back for I miss you more and more...

FOR THE FIRST FEW DAYS, I was having some jet lag, I could not sleep even though it was almost midnight.  Waking up early in the morning did not help either, I was feeling kind of groggy for the waking time in Malaysia is actually sleeping time in Scotland.  LOL.... But after a week, I was back to Malaysian time, appetite was at "full blast" and these are some of the food I have "walloped" since the day I came back....

My favorite noodles I have been craving for...
Hot Piping Pan Mee at Bandaraya coffeeshop Ipoh next to Paragon Hotel... RM5 or so..
Appetizers while waiting for the noodles.... Less than RM4
On another morning, I had Yee Fatt Dry Curry Chicken Noodles...RM5.50
It has been a few years since I went there...
And some condiments with the curry...
Yee Fatt at Kampar Road, Ipoh...
On another morning, my friend took me to Bercham...
Yearning for prawn noodles but this was not as appetizing as I expected to have... RM5
But the Lor Mai Kai was really good... RM4
The sticky rice was soft and tasty....
Saw somewhere a cafe was opened at Canning Garden...
Went there to try their Chicken Kunyit... around RM9
Nothing much to shout about...
I was wondering whether it would be better if there were at least some greens on the plate?
Perhaps some slices of cucumber will enhance the presentation than just the meat?
Tried their snacks... hmmmm... RM1.50 + RM1
Well, I think I can skipped those too...
Better stick back to my regular stalls...
The jelly fungus at Wooley will not be a mistake.... RM9
Nothing can go wrong with this combination....
Jelly Fungus with Paku Pakis...
Had a bowl of Hor Hee at the Stadium during night fall... RM4.50
Desserts at Tai Soo, Anderson Road, Ipoh....
Tau Foo Far... and the ice cream taken from the Ice Kacang below....
Missed this lots!
Ipoh is certainly welcoming me with Food and More Food!

  6. I gather Ipoh is another foodie place that has to be explored in addition to Sibu.

What are in the jelly fungus? Is Hor Kee a soup of assorted fish balls and crullers? I guess the ice cream is an ABC ice cream.

    1. Liew Fun.. many choices.. in old town, I would recommend the CT in the morning.. and for crispy liew lovers, go for the Buntong liew fun in town, original in Buntong N/V itself *opens night only* and brunch time at Farlim..
