Let's Tea Together

WHENEVER I CHECK IN TO HOTELS in different states or countries I go to, I always remember to bring back the tea bags or coffee packets with me each time I check out.  I do not drink coffee till today but I do start drinking tea nowadays, especially those Green Tea or Jasmine Tea.  These tea are best consumed after a heavy meal while they are still brewing hot, take them sip by sip... hmmm... that is the satisfaction.   As I eat out so often especially those oily dishes, the first thing I go home, I would get my Ecooe Glass Teapot to make a nice and hot drink and slowly sip it while I relax.  But I know my body system pretty well, I do not consume tea in the late evening, the best time for me to drink is during or after breakfast or lunch.

Alright, how do I brew my Herbal Tea?  I do it according to the beginner's guide as in the website here.

1)  Put in 2 teaspoons of any loose leaf tea for every cup (8oz) of tea.  As for my case, I use loose Green Tea, (heard that one can lose weight effectively drinking green tea daily)
2)  Rinse the tea.
3)  Then fill the teapot with hot water and leave it for 3-5 minutes to let it steep in.
4)  Take out the infuser if you like, as for me, I like to leave the infuser in so that I can replenish it with hot water anytime I finish drinking.

I really like my cute little Ecooe Glass Teapot which is purchased through Amazon here, so convenient and easy to use and wash.  No more using a filter to separate the tea whenever it is poured out. Among other tea leaves, there are also Ginger Tea, Lemon Balm Tea, Rosehip Tea, Chamomile Tea which suits my taste pretty well.  Now I am thinking of getting some Peppermint and Lemongrass tea, I heard that they are really beneficial to my body system, as to taking off "wind and gas" especially I eat out quite so often.  As Chinese always use to say, "Let's go Yam Char" (drinking tea), it also means Tea brings  Family and Friends together.  :)
