Reanaclaire Cook Evening Dinner For Two

MY GIRL WANTED HOMECOOKED FOOD..... and we went marketing together for once!  LOL.. Yes, it is very rare that she goes to wet market with me, dry market such as the malls is not a problem.  Another reason might be that she had no choice, it was after our breakfast that we had to drop by the market, it was just on the way back.  Or perhaps she wanted her own choice of food this time round... LOL... and we ended up buying back the below stuff for evening's dinner....

Instead of frying, my girl suggested baking it in the oven...
Good idea... kitchen will be "saved" from the "oiliness"....
Into the oven it went... with sliced tomatoes and plum sauce.....
I have some leftover minced meat and my girl wanted steamed eggs...
So... Steamed Eggs with Minced Meat Dish is born...
The outcome of the dish came out "unbalanced" on one side...
Never the mind... as long as it is well cooked! :)
As for the vege, my girl chose a "hairy gourd" for this dish...
It is called "Tai Yee Ma Ka Lui" (Auntie marrying off the daughter?)
Added in some Goji aka Kei Chi...
Yes, it has been a long time since I cook this... or have I ever???
Hence... our Evening Dinner is Created...
Don't underestimate us ladies...
We finished the three dishes at One Go!
LOL...

  1. I love baking fish...or meat or anything. Nicer and healthier too, no oil...and yes, no oil spills too...plus cooking oil has increased by 50% since they removed the subsidy!

  3. It looks so good, Claire! And so many choices. No wonder she wanted you to cook for her. Your food will be the best, because it is cooked with love.

  6. Nice! Love the way you cook the fish. Steam is healthier than frying. And yes, less oiliness which I hate. All the cleaning and wiping.
