Two Nights Stay At Silver Legacy Hotel, Reno

FINALLY WE REACHED RENO... and the hotel booked is Silver Legacy.  My sister got a good deal online, something like groupon but it is called living social.  For one night, the rate is around $47 and we booked two nights, very reasonable rates, I would say.  It comes with two queen size beds, easily accommodating the four of us in one room.  Hehehe... .We booked two rooms since there were six of us and we were allowed to check in early since it was an off peak season.  That is the best, no crowds and we can easily move about anywhere.. anytime....

Silver Legacy Hotel is also intertwined with another two hotels, Eldorado Hotel and Circus Circus Hotel.  These three hotels are joined together and we can easily accessed to them without going out to the open.  From one hotel, we walked to another, looking through their cafes, restaurants, dessert shops and casinos which are more or less the same.  Eventually we settled for something hot outside the hotel... Golden Flower which is a Vietnamese restaurant... we wanted a hot bowl of Pho!
At the registration....
This is how the lobby looks like....
Beautiful Silvers on display at the lobby...
One hotel is similar to another... everywhere we go, we see this...
Casino from one floor to another...
Our modest and affordable room...
Kept us comfortable for two nights...
From the 15th floor....
Eldorado Hotel....
There is section for children...
Minions here and there....
At the Golden Flower Restaurant, Vietnamese food...
Crowded... that proved the food here is pretty good!
No pictures of my Big Bowl of Pho because I was too hungry by then...  LOL...
And after our dinner, we took a drive around the town before we called it a day...

Berries bread pudding today....  Forgot what this is called....  Garlic honey scones...  Coffee for my friends.... As for me, I had Chamomile tea....  We ordered one croissant to share.... Smoked duck and omelette fillings... Full to the brim... RM15....  Quiche again.... different fillings this time... RM15 And a Happy Birthday piece of cheese cake... RM14.. Though just a few varieties, we were very full.... For dinner, I just ha

Saw it on Facebook, one of my friends put up the fresh curry buns she ordered.  Yours truly saw and salivated and the next thing, I have the details I needed.  During the weekdays, the Breadlady has different kinds of buns and on Saturdays, she makes shepherd pies.  Since I got the details on Friday, I quickly messaged her and ordered 5 packets!  No, I did not eat them all, I ordered for my friends too, they have the same common interest as I do.  LOL...  ' Each set of shepherd pie comes with 2 fresh buns costing RM15.   I like her packing.... Brown paper bag with this slogan... Freshly baked with love...  The pies were still warm when they were delivered to right to  my doorstep with no extra charge... So nice! BREAKFAST PLANS.... and we had Dim Sum this morning in First Garden.  We made the plans the night before to meet at the shop at 9am...  (A relief for me cos I had been waking up very early these days!)   Managed to get a big table for six pax, thanks to two of my friends who were there earlier than 9.  Except for the SOP procedures, it looks like business were back to normal in some areas.  We spent around an hour enjoying the below Dim Sum and we would be meeting again for lunch later!  Opppsss... it is all about eating again during this time of RMCO...
