Why is Cancun such a popular travel destination?

Traveling is often a favorite way to spend free time. There are so many destinations to discover and it seems as if there is not enough time nor money to see everything that one wants to see in a lifetime. One of the most coveted places to visit due to its beautiful beaches, great food, and relaxing atmosphere is Cancun, Mexico. While in Cancun, you will never be bored. If you are looking for something fun to do while on holiday, this article will give you some ideas as well is explain why Cancun is such a popular destination.

  1. Isla Mujeres. Certainly one of the most gorgeous islands in all of the world, Isla Mujeres is located in Mexico off of the Caribbean Sea. It is close to Cancun at just 13 kilometers off the coast. Well known as a popular holiday destination, this island is full of gorgeous resort hotels, opportunities to snorkel and scuba dive around coral reefs, as well as enjoy visiting the remains of a Mayan temple. As if these ideas are not enough to convince you that this island is a must see, you must also know that you can rent a yacht or a boat while there. Sailing around the island while sipping on a pina colada is the perfect way to relax in luxury while on holiday.
  2. Convenience. Cancun is such a popular destination for many because it is so easy to get to. Located just a few hours south of the USA, many airlines offer direct flights at very reasonable prices.
  3. Great food. Cancun is known for it’s delectable cuisine and world renowned chefs. If you are a fan of fresh seafood and flavors that will delight your tastebuds, you will certainly find something to satisfy your appetite.
  4. Nightlife. Partying in Cancun is known as an absolute blast. Young adults flock to the city for spring break and other vacations because the nightlife is so popular and well known all over the world. Enjoy some of the hottest dance hits while enjoying a delicious beverage. Dance the night away and into the early morning hours. You can rest and sleep all day by the pool or on the beach while working on your suntan.
  5. Adventure. If you have an interest in scuba diving, snorkeling, or checking out the famous underwater museum with art sculptures created by Jason deClaires Taylor. If you are not much of a swimmer or snorkeler, you can still enjoy the museum by taking a glass-bottomed boat tour.

Cancun is so popular because it offers something for everyone. An Evening Dinner At Chef Chew Kitchen, Petaling Jaya

BACK TO SG. BULOH for a couple of days.... Come evening, we went for dinner at Chef Chew Kitchen in Seksyen 19, Petaling Jaya.  Since it was my first time there, I did not know what to expect except to sit back, relax and eat.  LOL... It is a one shop lot restaurant so tables are very limited.  Reservation was made at 6pm to be on the safe side, to avoid crowds and waiting for food was very minimized at this time of the day.  For the seven of us, these dishes were served on the table... Thumbs up even before the dinner...  And soon these are served...  Claypot braised ribs...  Their signature dish... Fish Maw...  First time eating fish maw which is whitish in colour...  Black Beancurd with Pumpkin sauce... Hey, this restaurant indeed serves new to me! This must be Sweet Sauce Chicken... For the American... Cos we Asians like Steamed Chicken like this!  LOL...  And the star dish of the dinner is this...  Freshly steamed and succulent prawns

My Final post on the Food Festival in the Victoria Market on Wednesday night.... The atmosphere at the market was "enhanced" by the cheerful songs and music by a group band... Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...  Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum....
