Breakast In Ipoh

I WAS OFTEN ASKED THIS... "Who takes care of your dog while you go on holiday?"  Well, if not for my kind neighbours, I would have to burn a hole in my wallet sending my furry member to "lodging" .. either that, or I would not have the opportunity to go anywhere, just sit and stay at home for the rest of my life.  LOL....

Yes, they take care of my furry member whenever I am away, very nice of them and I hope they will stay beside me forever!  LOL... Anyway, I am very grateful to them... As the saying goes, Love thy neighbour as you love yourself... and we hope we stay this way.  Helping each other out when needed and looking out for each other whenever circumstances arises.....

Cutting the story short, I went out with my neighbours for breakfast this morning and we opted for Chicken Koay Teow Jen Jen in Pasir Pinji.  My neighbour is more familiar with the vendor there and she requested that the chicken meat is from the thigh rather than the breast meat.  And she is certainly Right!
The drumstick meat is smoother and softer....
Price is the same... so next time I will opt for the drumstick meat... RM5....
For side dish, she ordered a plate of crunchy bean sprouts and Jellyfish... RM10
They blended well with the sweet Thai sauce....

And talking about food, I had to go for my "fix" on the following food!
The famous Chee Cheong Fun in Canning Garden....
Nowhere can compare with this!
I miss the local Wanton noodles too...
This plate of noodles is from Ipoh Garden South...
I thought I wouldn't be able to finish them all... but I certainly Did!
Well, the above 2-in-1 meal cost RM9...
Breakfast cum Lunch... so I guess the price is justified, right?
Oh, I forgot these... RM1.50 for each...
They are my Original Ipoh Cakes!
Nothing can beat them... so far.....

  1. I always love the koay teow in Ipoh and your chicken Koay Teow is calling me now. The soup is so nice that even KL cannot sell the same taste.

You are indeed blessed to have good neighbours while my sister's case is different cos they need to lock the cats inside their condo unit. I think your poor neighbours could not go for any holidays if they have dogs too. That is because you are always on holiday non stop!! LOLOL

  5. Also need to say that your neighbours are so very nice to take care of your dog for 90days because I know I cannot take care of any dog for 90days.

  6. Your closeups of the food are beautiful! To me, the chicken dishes and wanton soup look divine! Glad to hear that Labbie is still around. I have not heard about him in so long that I was afraid to ask.
