Visit To Nara Park, Japan On Our Free 'N' Easy Day

ON OUR FIRST DAY OF OUR FREE AND EASY IN OSAKA... we found our own way through subway to Nara Park.  Of course, I did not do any homework, I am just a follower... wherever you go, I go.  We started out early in the morning cos we wanted to cover two places in a day.

Firstly, we stopped at Nara park, it is a home to hundreds of freely roaming deer, estimated around 1200 of them.  The deer are surprisingly tame but when we start to feed them, they can be pretty "aggressive" ... we passed round the crackers cos they really chase the one who have them.  But they are cute too in a way, some of them have "learned" to bow for their food.  :)

See, they are loving each other...
I dare not hold any crackers even though my scarf nearly got taken away by them! :)
Some can be pretty tame...

The "secret garden" I called it... we had our tea there...
Our light tea and some desserts which is not in the picture here...
Nice picnic area.. cooling...
Can sit here and relax...
We walked from the front till the end...
As long as they are not fed, we feel safer... LOL...
Cheery Cherry  Blossoms here and there...

Here too...
Peace at Nara Park....

  1. I missed those deer even thought I got bitten by many on my backside.
That Nara city is so unique that one could see these deer animals roaming freely on the busy streets while cars would gently stop to allow them to cross the streets. I love that.

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...
Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch here in …

Caring And Sharing At Limestone, Regal Lodge, Ipoh

IMPROMPTU GATHERING.... Nothing was planned beforehand, it was only at the last minute that we received call to have lunch at Limestone Cafe, inside Regal Lodge.  It was my first time there to have set lunch.  The menu prices were reasonable, around RM15.90 for the main dish, RM3 for a bowl of soup and RM2 for ice cream.  Other than that, coffee, tea and soft drinks are free.
We were there not so much for the food but for the ambiance... we practically had the whole cafe to ourselves during that lunch hour.  Only one or two tables were occupied and we spent more than two hours there since it was a Friday long hour lunch for my working colleagues.  After a few months absence from me, it was wonderful to catch up with my ex-colleagues again!
I was super hungry by lunch time and I felt like eating almost anything in the menu. We ended up ordering one main dish each and then sharing them with one another so that we could taste a bit of this and that.....
I felt like eating Aglio Oli…

Famous Wanton Mee At New Hoong Kee, Bandar Sri Damansara

BREAKFAST FEAST..  Best meal of the day is always my first meal because I know I am able to tuck in as much as my stomach can accept.  I eat a lot in the mornings and then slowly dwindle by the end of the day.  As the saying goes, eat like a king in the morning and like a pauper in the evenings.  This is what I normally do nowadays, not because I wanted to, but it is my own body system that tune me this way.  Though I deny I am old but the body says otherwise... LOL...

On this morning, we went to New Hoong Kee in Bandar Sri Damansara, my sibling said this is currently his favourite place.  And after trying, I know why.... the food we ordered, all turned out good and tasty, even the curry reminded me of my good old days!
Managed to catch the name otherwise I wouldn't be able to tell this story now...  My type of curry... I can go without the chicken... Just the other ingredients will do fine for me.. I like the way they cook this curry... Heard the BBQ pork is tasty too... melt in …
