Homecooked Filipino And Malaysian Food Fusion

FOOD AND SONGS AGAIN....

Another weekend came.... and we had a small gathering again in a friend's house, a time to get together starting with Food, followed by singing and dancing till our throats' ran dry, till my coarse voice came out and my body ached.... No more, no more singing and dancing... LOL...

As usual, we cook something to bring over, Curry Chicken using the Tean paste and some mixed vegetables... on the other side, our Filipino friends made some of their local delights and we had a good time tasting each other's cultural cuisine....
From our Malaysian side... Chicken curry...
And two tiffin carrier of mixed vegetables...
Braised Pork Ribs Filipino style...
Pancit also known as fried noodles....
Suman Moron...
Got this picture from here...
Made of ground glutinous rice and cooked in coconut milk
and mixed with cocoa or chocolate....
Our simple lunch for the few of us...
Our Happy Faces!
Then comes the ...... Giant Fruit Tart!
I could finish one whole piece.... yummy!!

  2. Suman Moron looks similar to our kuih nyonya here that is wrapped with banana leaves. I am sure I would like it as I like glutinous-most-food but maybe can eat half only.
