The Fishing Village At Kuala Sepetang

FISHING VILLAGE WALK...

I could not remember when my last visit to Kuala Sepetang was, out of curiosity, I searched for it in my own blog and found a few posts dated back in 2012!  Seriously, was it so long ago since I last visited Kuala Sepetang?  Then it is indeed time to pay a visit to this fishing village again and this time round, we came here to purchase some dried seafood stuff.  And while doing so, we walked around a bit to see how the drying process was done....
It was a hot sunny day.... even the workers were covered up completely....
The drying process of salted fish....
Small fishes being dried in the sun...
I like to take salted fish during my younger days...
They blend very well if eaten with plain porridge....
But I have never taken these before...
Maybe these are the ones cooked in curry?
After our purchases of dried shrimps, we continued on our way to the bay....
The Eagle!
No, we did not take our lunch in this shop...
We came by just to take some pictures....
At the jetty...
It was super hot on that day....
Time to run to the shade after all these were taken....
Time to Eat!

  1. The eagle is very impressive! And I like the yellow of the boat dock...it matches your Batman shirt! I have never seen fish drying like this, so many!! Very interesting.

  3. Something different and interesting to visit after too much time in the city, I suggest you can apply sunblock if you are scare of too much sun, but must use makeup remover to remove it before sleep and do not use those with the ingredient oxybenzone

  4. I love such places, very laid back, very natural...but this one is probably very smelly like Pangkor, where they dry the fish and other things.

  7. Good to revisit places that you have been before. I don't take salted fish much. Depends on the dishes.
