Birthday Celebration For Two At Sun Lee How Fook Restaurant

BIRTHDAY FOR THE DUO...

Celebrated two birthdays at Sun Lee How Fook Restaurant, Ipoh.  Before that I called up several restaurants to get the best dinner set... how to define "best set?"  The price must be reasonable and the dishes must be worth the money.  LOL... After several calls, we settled for this restaurant which offers this dinner set at RM555.  It means "ha ha ha" in Thai language.

As usual, family members were called in for this birthday celebration and the set dinner started off with this double boiled chicken soup....
With fish maw and chinese herbs...
One whole chicken for the 10 bowls of soup...
Followed by a combination of 5 dishes at one go...
Fried Salmon Skin with salted egg...
Clams salad...
Fried springroll prawns...
Oh, how to describe this???
.... and Yam cake
Those were our first and second dish...
This is their signature dish in the restaurant...
Eaten with steamed mantau-s...
Black pepper Grouper with vegetables...
Another dish made from fish paste....
And fish noodles...
Yes, one fish could be made into three dishes...
Followed by the desserts...
And lotus pancake....
A Durian Birthday Cake homemade by Julia...
One can afford to eat two slices on that night...
Birthday celebrities.. LOL..
And the invited guests...
