Best Place To Visit Falls Of Feugh, Banchory

FALLS OF FEUGH... This is my fourth time to this place and still wanting to go.  The scenery is breathtaking and the food is great!   The place is just less than an hour drive from Aberdeen to Banchory and we came here after our visit to the Gideon Highlanders museum.
And so here we are at the grounds....
The place where we had our tea....
A cottage just opposite the cafe...
Inside the cafe.... very nice cosy feeling...
If it is sunny, customers would love to sit here....
Unfortunately, the weather is still too cold..
Otherwise, it would be wonderful to have our food outside on the balcony
while listening to the splashes of the falls....
Summer will be great for weddings or events to be held here....
I can just imagine for now...
Quickly took a few photos outside and scurried in for the warmth and our tea time knick knacks...
Their homemade warm buns....
And their super rich butter...
I could finish these in one bun itself.... LOL...
Aaron ordered this for his lunch....
And the big man had this... really very English-y...
No fishy smell... all was nicely done and I tried a bit...
Yummmss... I will order this the next time if I go there again!
As for desserts, their homemade moist strawberry butter cake!
The lady brought the whole cake over for me to take photo!
We tried a slice... it melted in our mouths...
Thought of ordering another piece!
If not for this desserts... just so mouth-watering!
After the scrumptious food, we walked to the Bridge of Feugh,
just a small walk from Banchory teahouse....
This footbridge is popular with visitors who watch salmon climb the natural leap
as they make their way up the Falls during the months of February to March
and from September to November....
No, we did not manage to see any salmon leaps...
Maybe we did not wait long enough...
Another time, perhaps....
