Shopping And Hiking Up At Park City

SHOPPING... We took the early shuttle from Marriott to the outlet stores some 20 minutes drive away.  The bus came punctually to pick us up and we told the driver where we wanted to go since it was our first time, we really did not know what and where to stop.  Yes, it was real nice of the driver, he told us where to get off and where to pick us up again when we have finished our shopping!

Shopping here at the outlets is so relaxing!  No crowds, a very quiet scenic for a change, totally different from other outlets I have been before.  We took a few hours picking and choosing our stuff at Abercrombie!  Best place to go... everything seemed to be so cheap!  For just $5, we could get a lace dress, blouse, sweat pants and t-shirts!!  Some even cost only $3.50 and we ended up buying more and more!!  LOL...
Part of our "loot!"
We thought we could relax after our shopping...
But no, we did not have time to...
Our commander insisted that we should go hiking with him!
Yes, we obliged... almost reluctantly... LOL...
He led the way....
I was waaaayyyy.. behind....
Nevertheless, we managed to catch up when he slowed down...
Hilly hills...
Up to the skiing mountains...
I am imagining how it looks like during winter....
More fun than summer....
And up away we climbed.. huffing and puffing....
Somehow we managed to finish an hour hike....
Still energetic for the camera!!
Yay!!! Finished line at last!!
All this happening at Park City!!
After this, I could have a Huge Dinner!!

Three Hours City Tour At Ensenada, Mexico

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. Yes, something common in my own country... Anyway, we did not buy anything for ourselves... just a wooden handmade truck for my grandson which cost $8usd.   Nothing much to shout about on this three hours excursion, I was so sleepy on the way back to the ship that I dozed off and only awaken when we were driven through the town.  All in all, I just wanted to step onto Mexican soil and I would give this a miss if I were to go on this Mexico cruise again.  LOL... At the open area shopping walking towards the Blowhole... This is La Bufadora Blowhole, an amazing natural marine geyser that is capable of shooting water over 60 fe

Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner At San Jose 2022

TABLE FOR FOUR... We had our own reunion Chinese New Year dinner on Monday evening.... we made a simple one, just hot pot at home.  All we have to do is to clean the vegetables, get everything defrosted... and the hot pot boiling with a packet of seasoning.  They sell a lot of hot pot seasoning over here, from tomato soup to shrimp and chicken soup, I just threw in the whole packet of paste.  No doubt not so healthy but it is so easily done....  As usual, Chinese New Year won't be CNY without a plate of Loe Sang...  No crackers so I put in a few pieces of Tacos... LOL... Most important is the sauce....  The apricot, plum sauce and honey makes it right.... And our dishes for the evening..... We ate too much shrimps the day before so we omitted for this evening.... Simple and yet satisfying meal for our Reunion Dinner....

Phil's Fish Market And Eatery, Moss Landing

DAY TRIP TO MOSS LANDING...  I did not know what to expect since I had not been there before.  We took an hour plus drive to this seafood place, it is an open air restaurant whereby you can dine by the sea or inside.  We chose the latter, since it was quite windy in the open air.  With a baby kid, it is best to have some warmth inside the restaurant. Yes, there was already a queue by the time we reached there, it was actually between lunch and dinner and yet, patrons were ready to have their meal.  Though the queue looked long, we could get a place within 10 minutes or so.   Almost the same picture but someone was looking at me when I took these...  Almost reaching the finishing line to enter ... Clam Chowder to start off...  Cioppino... A combination of seafood... Mussels, prawns, crabs, clams...  Eat what the fishermen eat... Dip the bread in the sauce... Yes, I like this... Fried chicken chunks...  And I still prefer the Cioppino compared to this....  Baby enjoying his own food befo
