Korean Food In Singapore

WEEKEND RUSH...

There is a saying that Singaporeans like to Queue... oh, let me rephrase... those staying in Singapore normally have to queue up for their meals, especially during weekends dinner time.  Lining up to get seated a very normal thing in Singapore and I experienced this on a Saturday evening.  My son took us to this place whereby along the whole row, it is mostly consist of Korean and Japanese restaurants.

I saw crowds in some shops, I mean they were queuing up and I told my son that I prefer to go to somewhere without the queue even though the food might not be so fantastic.  I really don't mind as long as there is a place for us to sit instead of queuing up outside on the pavement.
Taken from opposite from where I stood...

And we got one without crowd...
We still waited... but only 5-10 minutes...
One Korean restaurant... not sure of the name...
We have Bibimbap....
We ordered a set of hot pot.... and these are refillable...
Steaming hot...
Mostly vegetables... I like it.. healthy, right?
Herbal chicken with stuffed sticky rice....
Some sides to go with the rice...
Not sure how much this meal cost...
My son picked up the tab for this one...
We elderly people just said "Thank you, till the next time"...
LOL...

  1. Yummy looking korean food! I don't like to queue up and wait too, even though the food might be very fantastic and popular.

  2. Come to Sibu, we have a VERY nice Korean restaurant here (no nice Japanese one, got but no so nice). I can take you there, no need to queue and I will pick up the tab, no problem at all.
