Redeeming Our Free Dish At Robataya 1-Utama

JAPANESE AGAIN...  Since I have the free voucher for 3 set lunch, we went again to Robataya to use it up.  It was a weekend and when I told the staff that we wanted 3 Bento set lunch, he told us that they do not serve set lunch on weekends.  Oh oh... we could not redeem the 3 free sets and ended up exchanging it for a Sashimi... and my goodness, when the dish came out, I did not know whether to laugh or not to laugh... 

Four or five pieces of Salmon to replace the 3 Bento lunch set!
If I know that this is served, I wouldn't have redeemed this... LOL... 
Cannot even get one piece each for there were six of us... 
Started off with salad... 
More greens... 
This time we ordered a bit of this and that.... 
Did I post double?
More on meat skewers... 
Cheesy Salmon... 
The food here is not bad actually... 
Chicken meat wrapped with omelette... 
Even the garlic fried rice is tasty... 
Ended with desserts.... 
On weekends, most of the tables were taken  up.... 
My niece picked up the tab this time.... 
Yes, she can redeem free lunch again... 
This time she should go during weekdays... 
More worth it!

    How do you get the free vouchers? I don't think there is any place here where I can get anything free. Sobssss!!!

    Robataya serves very authentic Japanese food esp the skewers barbecue. Yums!

    they should have explained it to you better then you wouldn't have exchanged the vouchers for only one plate of sashimi.

    Most of the food looks good, but the salmon dish is just SAD.

    The salmon sashimi looks pathetic, i would not exchange it with the vouchers too if i know it is such a small portion.

    Aiyo...3 set lunches in exchange for a few pieces of sashimi is so not worth it. Never mind, now you know not to exchange hah..hah... I have been to this outlet a few times and I love the food. It is always very crowded in the evenings.

The Good, The Bad But Not Ugly

MISSING AND NOW BACK IN ACTION...  I checked back my last post and it was 8 March last month and today is 19 April, less than two months only.  So what has been happening in my life?  Lots and lots... good news, bad news, sad news... all concerning health and I guess this is our life cycle as we live day by day.   My health is also not that "fantastic" during the past few months, but mine is a small rock compared to giant boulder which my best buddy is undergoing... Exploring The Sea Cruise Royal Caribbean

CRUISING ALONG.... Once we deposited our bags in our cabins, we had our buffet meal at the Hammerjack restaurant and exactly at 4pm, we heard a loud Horn signal...  ITS TIME TO SAIL ALONG THE PACIFIC OCEAN! And while the ship started to sail, we humans started to walk and explore.... to familarize ourselves inside the ship....  Elevators on each side of the ship....  Making my mark....  On another side....  We walked along to check out our food outlets... This Promenade Cafe  had became our regular joint .... We like to sit there enjoying our hot drinks and desserts... Free flow of food day and night.... Passing through the bars to the casino... The casino will open only when the ship is in international waters...  At one of the jackpot machines... I wonder if they are real?? But they are only $1 bundles... Then we went up to the highest floor.... The swimming deck.... Taken against the sun.... Nice sunset in the evening.... The Happy Trio!
