Scrumptious Lunch At Robataya Restaurant, 1-Utama

LOVE JAPANESE FOOD...  compared to Korean, Vietnamese, Thai.. Now I enjoy Japanese food more than the usual Chinese food in fact.  Maybe as I grow older, I prefer not-so-oily dishes.

During my one week stay in Sg. Buloh, our usual place is none other than 1-Utama.  Nearer to the place we were staying, it is actually convenient, just some touches on the iPhone and we would be taken there... just have to pay for the fare only.  LOL...

On this beautiful day, we went for our lunch at a Japanese restaurant called Robataya, my first time going there and then few days later, we went again.  Why?  Cos we have vouchers!  After our first meal which I picked up the tab (this time), I was given 3 free set lunch.  Sounds great, yeah?  The food here was fantastic, prices are quite reasonable.  For a bento lunch set, it is only RM20, even in Ipoh, I could not get a bento set for this price!
For starters, a bowl of salad... now I am IN for salads!

We also had Sashimi... around RM80
I think this set is around RM60
And my set is RM20... this is the best deal compared to others....
Not sure of prices, I forgot....
My sister also ordered a Bento like mine...
For the five of us....
Plus one dessert to be shared...
The bill came to Rm300 plus...
That is why I got 3 free set lunch!
We used that for another day....
I really don't mind coming here again the next trip!

  2. I like the food here too. You didn't try the banana wrapped by bacon skewers? I like them.

  3. The Sashimi is gorgeous! So is the Sushi. Seems like you do not eat Japanese very often.

  4. Aha!!! You must be with your girl or you would not have gone for Japanese, not quite up your alley, I remember...or you have made progress since? LOL!!!

Everything looks very good here, some Japanese places are not up to that standard when it comes to presentation. The Japanese are so good at it, so creative and artistic.
