Dinner At Overseas Restaurant, Ipoh

DINING OUT....  Initially we wanted to Let's Rock for noodles but we ended up at Overseas Restaurant instead.  There was a long queue for the noodles and all the tables were occupied.  Maybe there is a limited number of tables now with the SOP rules and regulations.  Each table can only accommodate three people in this place and yet, there was still a queue on that day.

My son has never been to Overseas Restaurant and in we went.... as usual, we have to scan the QR code, I have already downloaded the "Sejahtera" app in my phone, it is more convenient than writing our details on the book displayed at the entrance.  After taking our temperature, we were led to a table for four.  We asked for their recommendation since I also had not stepped in to this restaurant for many years already.
Recommended was this dish....
Half a duck portion with red dates... RM25, normal price is RM48, so we were told...
Forgot what this dish was called...
Consisted of fish maw, eggs and fish roe...
Wrapped and eaten with lettuce....
Claypot sea cucumber with tendons...
The noodles have the "wok hei"
I like it...
For desserts, we have the lotus paste pancake....
Four dishes plus dessert cost around RM160...
Need to go for more brisk walks now they are back...
LOL...

  3. I like the dessert and the sea cucumber tendon dish the best! The half duck has a better price than my half duck. Tasty food! Good that your children can work from home so they can accompany you in Ipoh.
