THIRD DAY CNY FALLS ON VALENTINE DAY 2021

FALLS ON A SUNDAY...

Now with the latest MCO rules, only two in a car, two to a table when we eat outside.  A good move I would say, at least to the food business, not much but better than just take-away or delivery.

On this third day we followed just that, two in a car and we drove to Foh San for dim sum.  This restaurant has a super big space and it is not enclosed, open verandah and spacious.  I had not been there for several years until yesterday and though the food/dim sum were not as good as some other shops, we did not really mind.  After few days of cooking and staying at home, I don't mind dining out for a change...

After breakfast we went to Shake&Bake to get a Valentine cake and brought it over to our friend's house.  It has been quite a while since we last saw them...
A small mini Black Forest cake.... RM60
Evening comes, my friends came and together we made this....
Our supposedly moo-moo ended up looking like some other animals...
We are not artistic enough...
LOL...
After photo taking, we topped with more fruits and crackers...
And apricot plum sauce, sesame seeds and peanuts....
After all the photo taking, the tossing began....
Shouts of good blessings were recorded on the phone...
That will be for keeps!
Ordered delivery Prawns in Bread...
And the black color soup is Black Vinegar Trotter... .
We carried our food out to the living hall...
because we cannot carry the aircon to the dining hall...
LOL....

  4. Yes, we have no choice but to travel two in a car. That was a beautiful and delicious black forest cake for Valentine's Day and the moo moo loh sang is so cute! Lol!

  5. Your loh sang has too much ingredients on that plate. The sop allows 15 pax to gather so that is more than enough, right?

  8. Haha. That was the cutest yee sang I ever seen. No yee sang for me this year. Nothing special yesterday other than visiting an uncle and stayed in his house for more than 6 hours talking, drinking and snacking. Lol.

  9. Same as STP, I am curious who is the "we" in the car, hee hee. No Yee Sang for us this year so far, in SG, if we have yee sang outside, we are suppose to wear our masks and not allowed to shout auspicious words. Good that you get to gather and bond with your friends. That black forest Valentine Day's Cake looks delicious, yums!

Saw it on Facebook, one of my friends put up the fresh curry buns she ordered.  Yours truly saw and salivated and the next thing, I have the details I needed.  During the weekdays, the Breadlady has different kinds of buns and on Saturdays, she makes shepherd pies.  Since I got the details on Friday, I quickly messaged her and ordered 5 packets!  No, I did not eat them all, I ordered for my friends too, they have the same common interest as I do.  LOL...  ' Each set of shepherd pie comes with 2 fresh buns costing RM15.   I like her packing.... Dim Sum For Six In First Garden, Ipoh

BREAKFAST PLANS.... and we had Dim Sum this morning in First Garden.  We made the plans the night before to meet at the shop at 9am...  (A relief for me cos I had been waking up very early these days!)   Managed to get a big table for six pax, thanks to two of my friends who were there earlier than 9.  Except for the SOP procedures, it looks like business were back to normal in some areas.  We spent around an hour enjoying the below Dim Sum and we would be meeting again for lunch later!  Opppsss... it is all about eating again during this time of RMCO... (Recovery Movement Control Order) First to be served... the Dim Sum-s... And the total cost for our orders came to RM60.... Definitely a good deal... I am definitely full.... for now! LOL...
