Tips To Help Maintain Your Outdoor Space

Maintaining your outdoor space when it comes to your home is something you always want to pay attention to. It’s one area of the home that can often be neglected but should, in fact, a space that’s used quite often throughout the year. With that in mind, here are some tips to maintain your outdoor space.

Get Fuss-Free Materials & Greenery

Firstly, make sure you are picking things for the outdoor space that are going to be manageable. You don’t want to get plants or greenery that are going to take a lot of work to upkeep because you might not have time to do this. The same goes for materials like outdoor furniture. Even though some furniture might look nice with a metal finish, the upkeep to stop them from rusting might be a bit too much and it might end up getting ruined by forgetting to cover them up or store them away.

Find things that are going to be easy for you to deal with and this can change from person to person. You may be someone who loves their garden and spending time pruning it. There’s also so much out there to pick from, that you’re not going to have a hard time finding things anyway.

Go Artificial

It’s good to consider your options when it comes to what you include in your outdoor space, particularly when it comes to things like grass and other natural materials. However, you may want to consider going artificial, especially as the upkeep of making the grass look good is quite difficult. Depending on where you live and how you treat it, can dictate just how green your grass will be. So with that being said, if you fancy not having the hassle of mowing the lawn, then you definitely want to think about getting artificial grass instead. It also means that if you have any kids or pets, they’re not bringing in half of the garden with them on their feet or shoes.

Get Professionals In For Big Jobs

There are some big jobs when it comes to maintaining your outdoor space that is bigger than you can take on alone. Things like tree surgery and cutting down big trees will likely need someone like Sydney Tree Company to step in and take the lead. It’s best to get the professionals in so that everything is done correctly and won’t be harmful for you or your household to try and do yourselves.

Declutter The Space

And finally, make sure that you treat your outdoor space like you treat the indoor space. Clear it of any clutter and that way, you’re not falling over yourself when trying to move around the space. This is particularly important when you have young children but also when entertaining guests. You don’t want the outdoor space to look a mess and so try to keep it clutter-free.

Maintaining your outdoor space can take some effort but it’s definitely important to do more of where you can.

My White Elephant

WHITE ELEPHANT.... still laying on my table for two months I think....   My friend groomer is not free these days, my poor Labby badly needs her hair cut and leaving no choice, I ordered the grooming shaver online.  I thought it would be easy to install the shaver to the appliance and till today, I am still at my wits end on how it is fixed.  My friend gave me a tip... check out the Youtube, she said.  Yeah, how come I did not think of that.....  But till today, I have not even touched it and my poor furry member will have to wait till this Mama has her right mood to do it.   My own hair also badly needs a hair cut and with the high Covid cases each day, I guess I have to tolerate for another month with my unruly hair..... or perhaps I can make use of this clipper on myself before I use it on my furry member!  LOL.... Crazy me! Still standing nicely on the table....  Still looking at the gadgets.... and not doing anything about them... I am happy with this dish....  Better looking afte

A Short Stay At Fatima Hospital

TWELVE DAYS SINCE my last post.... I was admitted to the hospital last week for heart palpitations and was under observation for two nights.... Thank God all is well now....  And it is still all about food... this time from the hospital... LOL...  For breakfast 2 slices of bread... oats and milo.... I opted for porridge during one lunch.... And for dinner....  Wanton noodles for breakfast before I was discharged.... This was attached to my body to monitor the palpitations....  And the doctor whom I have chosen without recommendations... I saw the hospital profiles on the doctors  And I chose him because of his cheerful profile picture.... Yes, indeed he is what he looks... And I feel better after that... LOL...

Two Dishes One Soup Dinner

AUNTIE'S SIMPLE COOKING... for dinner on one evening.... Defrosted a piece of cod, my last piece in the freezer besides another few more pieces of other types of fish.  I think I consume the most fish this year, never bought so many types of fish before.  Maybe it is made easier for me this year cos of the online shopping at Gracious, cleaned, vacuumed and free delivery above RM50.   My last piece of cod.... A plate of greens called Yau Mak...  Not so sure what it is called in English And chicken herbal soup....  My complete meal for one evening....  As usual, I do not take much rice... Or perhaps I did not take rice at all for this meal....  LOL...
