Online Food Delivery And Homecooking During EMCO

ON HARDWORKING DAYS..... I had these for my meals.  Recently a friend recommended a lady who cooks and delivers right to my house with no extra charge.  One meal cost from RM6 onwards depending on the menu for the day.

My neighbour and I have been ordering for the past three days already.  I forgot to take picture on the first day of delivery, yesterday was black vinegar trotter with rice for RM8 and today for lunch, I ordered Lemongrass chicken chop with potato salad plus ricec for RM10.  At this moment of writing, the food has not arrived as yet.

Bought a loaf of bread and for the past two days, this is my breakfast...
Mashed avocado with egg and toasted bread garlic spread...
Added in some kewpie sauce too...
My friend bought a packet of stinky beans for me...
And I added in some prawns bought from a seafood online delivery...
Dinner consists of these three dishes....
Yesterday ordered two portions of Black Vinegar Trotter....
Very generous portion... RM16
Two bowls... one for lunch and one for dinner....
I just have to cook one dish....
Yesterday's dinner... fully satisfied!
The vinegar helped me to release a lot of "wind"....
If you know what I mean!
LOL....

  1. Black vinegar trotter!!! I want!!! Your fried broccoli looks good too. I remember those days when your mum was around and she did all the cooking, you could not cook very well. Now, can turn pro already!!!

Three Hours City Tour At Ensenada, Mexico

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. Yes, something common in my own country... Anyway, we did not buy anything for ourselves... just a wooden handmade truck for my grandson which cost $8usd.   Nothing much to shout about on this three hours excursion, I was so sleepy on the way back to the ship that I dozed off and only awaken when we were driven through the town.  All in all, I just wanted to step onto Mexican soil and I would give this a miss if I were to go on this Mexico cruise again.  LOL... At the open area shopping walking towards the Blowhole... This is La Bufadora Blowhole, an amazing natural marine geyser that is capable of shooting water over 60 fe

Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner At San Jose 2022

TABLE FOR FOUR... We had our own reunion Chinese New Year dinner on Monday evening.... we made a simple one, just hot pot at home.  All we have to do is to clean the vegetables, get everything defrosted... and the hot pot boiling with a packet of seasoning.  They sell a lot of hot pot seasoning over here, from tomato soup to shrimp and chicken soup, I just threw in the whole packet of paste.  No doubt not so healthy but it is so easily done....  As usual, Chinese New Year won't be CNY without a plate of Loe Sang...  No crackers so I put in a few pieces of Tacos... LOL... Most important is the sauce....  The apricot, plum sauce and honey makes it right.... And our dishes for the evening..... We ate too much shrimps the day before so we omitted for this evening.... Simple and yet satisfying meal for our Reunion Dinner....

Phil's Fish Market And Eatery, Moss Landing

DAY TRIP TO MOSS LANDING...  I did not know what to expect since I had not been there before.  We took an hour plus drive to this seafood place, it is an open air restaurant whereby you can dine by the sea or inside.  We chose the latter, since it was quite windy in the open air.  With a baby kid, it is best to have some warmth inside the restaurant. Yes, there was already a queue by the time we reached there, it was actually between lunch and dinner and yet, patrons were ready to have their meal.  Though the queue looked long, we could get a place within 10 minutes or so.   Almost the same picture but someone was looking at me when I took these...  Almost reaching the finishing line to enter ... Clam Chowder to start off...  Cioppino... A combination of seafood... Mussels, prawns, crabs, clams...  Eat what the fishermen eat... Dip the bread in the sauce... Yes, I like this... Fried chicken chunks...  And I still prefer the Cioppino compared to this....  Baby enjoying his own food befo
