3 Ways To Look After Yourself Better

Being a busy person doesn't mean that you have to neglect your health. It’s so important to look after your body and mind so you can avoid the common pitfalls of being too stressed. If you know that you want to live a good life and be in great shape, then you really need to start taking better care of yourself and looking after your body and here’s why.

Why Do You Need to Look After Yourself Better?

Taking care of yourself is beneficial in many ways. You can improve your health, personal well being, and self-care. Going to the gym regularly and doing a bit of meditation can help you sleep better at night as well as reduce depression symptoms.

Taking care of yourself is not always easy, but it will make your life a lot easier. You should start by working on your health and nutrition habits in order to make sure that your health is optimum.

How to Create a Personalized Self-Care Routine

Everyone wants to create a self-care routine, but it can be difficult to determine what works for you. Self-care routines should be based on what is most effective for you and your needs. There is no one size fits all approach when it comes to self-care, so make sure that your personalized routine is customized for YOU!

Creating a routine will give you the time and space to take care of your mental and physical needs. You can make sure that you are not overworking yourself and neglecting your needs. Think about whether you need more rest time or to have a bath. Maybe you need pampering treatments or to go for long walks. Really work out what makes you feel rested and healthy and work it into a weekly or monthly routine.

How To Work Out Better & Look After Your Physical Health

You should exercise at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes to get the best results. You can do cardio, weights, or a mix of both. You can work out on your own, or hire a personal trainer to help you with your workouts. Try out the push pull leg workout for maximum results, or think about trying yoga or something new.

The whole idea here is that you’re doing what you can to look after your physical health. So think about what you need to do to put your body first and make sure that you’re in good shape and healthy.

How to Manage Your Mental Health Better

With the increased levels of stress and mental health issues such as depression and anxiety, it is more important than ever for people to take care of their mental health. There are many ways in which you can manage your mental health better. You'll find that getting enough sleep, regular exercise, spending time with friends and family, and escaping from negative thoughts will help you to feel better in the long run. Also talking to a therapist could be what helps you the most.

Three Hours City Tour At Ensenada, Mexico

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. Yes, something common in my own country... Anyway, we did not buy anything for ourselves... just a wooden handmade truck for my grandson which cost $8usd.   Nothing much to shout about on this three hours excursion, I was so sleepy on the way back to the ship that I dozed off and only awaken when we were driven through the town.  All in all, I just wanted to step onto Mexican soil and I would give this a miss if I were to go on this Mexico cruise again.  LOL... At the open area shopping walking towards the Blowhole... This is La Bufadora Blowhole, an amazing natural marine geyser that is capable of shooting water over 60 fe

Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner At San Jose 2022

TABLE FOR FOUR... We had our own reunion Chinese New Year dinner on Monday evening.... we made a simple one, just hot pot at home.  All we have to do is to clean the vegetables, get everything defrosted... and the hot pot boiling with a packet of seasoning.  They sell a lot of hot pot seasoning over here, from tomato soup to shrimp and chicken soup, I just threw in the whole packet of paste.  No doubt not so healthy but it is so easily done....  As usual, Chinese New Year won't be CNY without a plate of Loe Sang...  No crackers so I put in a few pieces of Tacos... LOL... Most important is the sauce....  The apricot, plum sauce and honey makes it right.... And our dishes for the evening..... We ate too much shrimps the day before so we omitted for this evening.... Simple and yet satisfying meal for our Reunion Dinner....

Phil's Fish Market And Eatery, Moss Landing

DAY TRIP TO MOSS LANDING...  I did not know what to expect since I had not been there before.  We took an hour plus drive to this seafood place, it is an open air restaurant whereby you can dine by the sea or inside.  We chose the latter, since it was quite windy in the open air.  With a baby kid, it is best to have some warmth inside the restaurant. Yes, there was already a queue by the time we reached there, it was actually between lunch and dinner and yet, patrons were ready to have their meal.  Though the queue looked long, we could get a place within 10 minutes or so.   Almost the same picture but someone was looking at me when I took these...  Almost reaching the finishing line to enter ... Clam Chowder to start off...  Cioppino... A combination of seafood... Mussels, prawns, crabs, clams...  Eat what the fishermen eat... Dip the bread in the sauce... Yes, I like this... Fried chicken chunks...  And I still prefer the Cioppino compared to this....  Baby enjoying his own food befo
