Glazed Ham On Thanksgiving 2021

WESTERN ALL THE WAY THE NEXT DAY...

That was why we took Asian  food the day before.... woke up early to prepare the feast for Thanksgiving, my first time celebrating in Sacramento.  Thank God for making this trip possible, never expected to leave my country in the midst of the Covid pandemic globally... somehow... unexpectedly  I am here!  Really thankful and this is celebrated on Thanksgiving....

Really blessed with a scrumptious feast too, prepared by the host/hostess and we helped around by tasting a bit here and there... LOL...

Took some hours to glaze the big chunk of ham in the oven... not an easy task... if not careful, it would end up charred...

Before going into the oven....
And after......
The chef... the one beside me of course...
Well done, Captain!
And the slicing began....
My son has the honor to do the slicing....
While I did the photography...
in between, adding bits and ends to my mouth...
Ok, one dish added to the appetizers/starters....
Another main dish coming up next!

  1. Oooooo...I'm drooling!!! Lucky you!!! My uncle in Kuching will always have turkey and gammon ham for Christmas every year. I think we had that last year, don't quite remember now.
