Our Weekend Thanksgiving In Sacramento

THANKSGIVING....  Never experienced this memorial day in the States, the last few times I came here, it was always summer.  For this time it is different, I have a few occasions to be with my love ones for once, starting with Thanksgiving....

I spent two weeks here in my sister's place and the first few mornings, I was awaken to the aroma smell of ham and eggs... LOL..... So thankful to my ever willing brother-in-law who loves to make breakfast for his guests.

The weather is so cooling now, I need to wear two layers now.... and the pomegranate is waiting for us to be plucked... so many of them.... we just could not finished plucking them all....

There are more behind this tree....
Or is it a bush tree....
Not too tall and that makes it easier for us to pluck...
After this plucking, it is a messy time of taking out the seeds from inside...|
I stood about one hour each day to get a few fruits peeled
while minding the floor and the walls...
The leaves on the trees have changed colour by now....
Our morning breakfast.....
With a slice of toast... we were very full....
On another morning.....
Biscuits with gravy...
Very filling too....
Yes, Thanksgiving is being Thankful to our love ones around us!
